Ibought ther first two trades this week, the comic specialty shops are having decentr sales picked up volume 1 for 10 and 2 for 15. It’s interesting to see what the writes added removed and the like. I was so exhausted last week I missed last episode I’m glad amc re runs the previous week before the premeire. Sadly though I think this series will officially kill the zombie franchises for a little while
Yeah… this show has actually had me on a zombie kick for a while.
I’ve watched:
Resident Evil
RE:Extinction
RE:Apocalypse
RE:Afterlife
28 Weeks Later
Dawn of The Dead
Zombieland
and a few others.
I’m excited for the finale, though I’m not sure if I’ll be watching it tonight.
Fact that you watched Resident means you support the destruction of movies, its true.

Eh they didn’t really leave anythinging hanging out there to be resolved and left it open for the next season but I was hoping for something bigger to happen I guess.
Ehh Ending. I was hoping for a bit more. But since this was not a real season. I’ll give them a pass. Now they should push next season up a couple of months to make up for this anticlimatic ending.

Truth. I hope they reconsider waiting until October to start.
I’m just tryin to figure out what the shit the scientist whispered into sheriff mans ear
^They’ll tell you next season
I thought it was a great episode, it had me amped up the whole hour (minus the commercials of course)
I can’t wait for the Shane-Lori smash-fest to come out to Rick … I can’t wait for the fire to rain down!
SO all in all, good acting, decent directing, decent writing, great story development. Next season’ll be beast.

Location of the prison? In the comic they spend some time in a fortified prison

Maybe he saw Shane’s assault on Lori in the library?
Maybe Lori is pregnant with Shane’s baby?
Maybe another location for them to run to/hide out?
Someone else (Andrea is infected)? Although this last one seems off since he would have wasted her right after the blood test 28 Days Later style if that was the case…
In any case I was let down by the downtempo/melancholy spirit of this episode. This makes me anxious to see Season 2.
Anybody else had a feeling TS-19 was somehow related to the doctor? I guess he was about to eat a bullet before Grimes & his crew showed up.
By the way anyone see Merle? So many questions. Another year it seems before answers.
Damn you AMC

I haven’t read the comic, but it’d be epic if the doc told Rick something along the lines of “Good luck taking care of your wife, your son, and the baby your wife is carrying.” (Determined from the blood test.)
I think the finale as a whole was fine. I’m just super-thankful there were no major cliffhangers, since that would’ve made the wait for next season even worse.

That is mad funny, since it would make him taking the blood fit into the plot…Oh and I read all the books.

“I have to be leaving…but, I won’t let that come between us…Ok?”
oops that was bill murray to scarlett johansson in lost in translation
The finale was definitely depressing, left you hanging. Oh well, I guess there is next season.
The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad on a hiatus… Only Burn Notice left for some light entertainment.
Feels bad, man.

NORTH CAROLINA UP IN THIS BITCH!
I haven’t read all of the responses here because I think I am one episode behind everyone else, but the acting in this show is top notch. If these actors weren’t able to bring out that emotion in these scenes, this whole project would be a bad B-movie at best.
I keep saying it, but The Mist is representing. I hope this show lasts another couple years.
they could have kept that Vatos Episode though. That was pretty cheesy…plus they pick the same fucking actor to play “Latino thug #1” in every damn movie. It sort of takes away his credibility.
