I was pretty lousy in basketball at the park and still can’t shoot a ball properly. So I put up a lot of what is called “bricks”. I had a decent bankshot though and because the ball hits the backboard in that shot, people would say, “Don’t let him get that shot; he’s going to brick it.” So from there my nickname was Brick, which eventually became Brickhead.
I love fish and fishing… Sturgeons happen to be my favorite because they are very cool looking and are some of the most ancient fish out there. I would have preferred “AtlanticSturgeon” as my handle but it was too long. I honestly didn’t put much though into creating my username.

I haven’t met many guys named Jed so I assume I’m the only one here. Being extremely creative and imaginative, I’m “The Jed” on every forum where I am an active member, again assuming I’m the only one there. “The Jed” instead of “A Jed”…maybe I should start using “this” or “that” instead of “the”.
I don’t belong to many forums, so if you stumble onto “The Jed” somewhere else odds are it’s me.
