Exactly. This is the next problem.
What a stupid question…

if you believe that Hell exists, then the only important thing in life is to avoid going there
Self sacrifice means a direct ticket to heaven right, atleast thats what happened in constantine.
Fuck burning in hell for eternity, go hold your hand over a fire and rethink your decision.
Have any of you people watched lately? or worked retail?
I don’t consider saving all of those lives worth burning in hell. I’d rather have the choice to clean out a lot of the stupid, useless, economy draining baggage and give those who will work for it a fair shot at making a good life.

Yeah this. There are a lot of people I’m not going to hell to save.
They are some people I would give my life for in a heartbeat, but not everyone.

That’s the thing. You wouldn’t. The question itself is a paradox, and before coming up with the answer, you have to first find out whether you really would go to hell or not.
Is this from a short story? I would check out a sci-fi short story collection all the time in grade school that had a question similar to this one. Can’t remember the author.

I work retail. THEY CAN ALL DIE!
I’m not selling shit unless I get some Superman class abilities.

At the risk of my soul, neither. Eat less, exercise more, and stop having unprotected sex in the butt. Solves both problems.
No God, no Devil, no Heaven, no Hell.
Only your ideas about them.

You say I am an atheist, not me.
A child is borne, never hears about God in any shape or form, never learns any language. Where is the Christian, Muslim or Hindu God?

Oh, and of course god (the christian god) is a big enough douchebag to allow you to burn for saving humanity. What goes on in this particular incarnation of hell anyways? Endless infinite pain or just chilling with all the other dudes who didn’t get to go to heaven? Somewhere in the middle? Need more information before signing an eternally binding contract.
Oh yeah and the confirmation of having a soul and there being an afterlife would probably fuck me right up. I’d have to put into effect “the plan”.

Believe in something or die empty. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world only but to lose his soul?
NO WAY
Its too good to be true. You would cure the world of war and disease forever? something else would come up usuredly. Theres always a better option than losing your soul…lol I’m also proud of not being an aithiest. Y’all can believe whatever you want…its cool…but to me faith in nothing is a weakness

Where are your beliefs when you’re dead?
Emptiness is also openness. There is too much innate beauty in the world and this body for belief to take its place.
