I’ll take pizza, ice cream, and donuts for my favs. Just can’t be beat! Unfortunately those are 3 of the worst foods for us athletes, LOL. I actually did make my own pizza tonight though. Gluten free and bodybuilding friendly (pictured above).
And for a slightly healthier cheat meal, I enjoy chicken marinated in wishbone dressing and a side of cheesy potatoes. Not mashed potatoes…but kind of mashed but with string shaped chunks. I have no idea what you’d call that, but it’s good stuff.
My favorite healthy meal that I can eat anytime I want is protein pancakes with melted canola butter on top (I’m on the AD diet).
1/2 cup more Garbanzo bean flour (completely replacing the suggested 1/2 cup tapioca flour)
Packet Stevia instead of sugar.
Guar Gum instead of Xanthan Gum (just because I didn’t have any)
Goat Milk Powder instead of regular.
I added an extra tbsp of water than what they suggested…and I probably should’ve added a little more.
My oven stinks and overcooks, but I should mention it was only in the oven for about half the time the recipe suggests.
Note - Be SURE to spray or rub on some sort of cooking oil onto the pizza pan before putting the pizza dough in. The dough is EXTREMELY sticky and stuck to the bottom despite spraying it on before hand. Obviously I didn’t use enough.
The toppings I used were a half pound of 96% lean (natural) ground beef, 3 servings (90 grams) fat free cheddar cheese, 100g combination green and red peppers, and this organic pizza sauce I bought with no added sugars. (I think I used about 2.5 servings, which I think was 312.5 grams).
Per serving (4 servings total) you get 260 calories … 36.5 grams carbs / 53 grams protein / 5.75 grams fat
The crust didn’t really rise at all (probably because I took out the tapioca flour), but I still really enjoyed it. It was sort of like a thin crust pizza, but with big soft edges.
When I do it next time, I’ll probably try it with the coconut flour I bought and see how that works out. And I’m sure I’ll make it a Hawaiian pizza with the coconut crust.
If you ever decide to try it out, let me know what you think!

In terms of a healthy food, a recent addition to my diet has been baked chicken covered in organic wheat germ. You don’t even need to coat the chicken in egg or anything I just roll it in the wheat germ and pop it in the oven.
In terms of other food, Kobe beef filet mignon. If you’re going to cheat, cheat with the best thats out there.
Oh God Kobe beef is the shit! It’s one of the things I miss the most from living in Japan. Also wish I could easily find the super thin sliced meats they always had at the supermarkets over there for stuff like yaki soba. Most places in the US wont cut stuff that thin.

Kobe Beef is amazing! It makes a great steak, great when sliced thin on the grill/habachi, great in fondues (hot pot)…melt in your mouth flavorful goodness.
Speaking of gourmet. Another thing that nails the spot for me is fresh Toro (tuna belly) sashimi or lobster sashimi.
