Where did you guys go to college and what was your experience there?
I went to the University of Oklahoma for undergrad and law school. I loved it.
I am from a college town in Colorado, but had always been pretty introverted. At school, I learned (by necessity) to be social and talk to strangers. I was fortunate in that I attended OU on a scholarship, and was able to live my freshman year on a floor in the dorms with other geeks. That really helped me transition.
While it was great to be around nerdy book worms, I also got to experience the “Animal House” stereotypical college party experience. Add to that an amazing football team and a sweet college town, and school was the best seven years of my life.
I’d considered going to a private Ivy league type school, or even smaller liberal arts colleges with heavy academic emphasis, but in hindsight nothing could beat the total experience I had at OU.
Graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara.
My experience there was perfect and I would not have changed a thing, nor would I have gone to any other university had I been given the chance. I double majored, played on the lacrosse team, was part of an athletes fraternity, lived on the beach, and was surrounded by some of the best looking women in the country. I am now making near six figures in my first year our of school. Hands down it was an epic experience and I am very thankful to have gone there.

I’m curious what majors got you nearly six figures your first year out.
I’m currently going to a CC so im still waiting for it lol.
I’m going to transfer to umass amherst next year, there is always a party, you just have to find it kinda place lol.

Cocksucker.
SUNY Cortland. Did an astronomical amount of drinking. Looking back, my biggest regret is that I never wrote on the face of a passed out buddy. Nothing creative, just the old standby ‘insert penis here’ with arrows pointed at the mouth. Nonetheless, good times… good times.
I started as a pre-med student at Emory. After a year and a half I got fed up and left. Did a year of CC to get some business prerequisites and went to the University of Florida and majored in business. Now I’m getting my MBA through the Naval Postgraduate School at Monterey. I made a couple friends at Emory that I still communicate with and none at Florida. I only hung out with the couple guys I already knew from my circle of friends in my home town. I never went out to bars, partly because I couldn’t afford it and partly because I just wanted to get decent grades and graduate. I enjoyed college overall.
Graduated in '83… Art Institute of Philadelphia. Associates Degree. Two years straight through, no summer off.
That place was a huge waste of time and money. Nothing I learned there has anything to do with what I do now. I’d still be a successful artist had I never gone there.
The ONLY worthy things I got from that school are a handful of great friends, and the girl who is now my wife.
I will add to say I did grow up a lot while there. Living in a West Philly ghetto for 10 months was one of the best experiences for a kid from a farm region of PA.

SUNY Albany.
Voted #1 party school my sophomore and second senior year.
I had some friends at Cortland, good times. Our fountain day was a more drugged out and horny version of the Cortica jug.
I’m at the University of Washington and I like it. Only thing I hate is all the liberal brats holding signs.
Chico State! Loved every second of it. It’s not the huge party school it has a reputation as anymore, but when I went there it was still going off bigtime Thu-Sat. The chicks are all whores, plenty of cocaine, weed from across the valley in Humboldt, Sierra Nevada beer on tap EVERYWHERE for 1-3$ a pint, small college town atmosphere. What’s not to like about it? I graduated with a degree in history and stayed in town to write for a local magazine since I liked the area so much. Sure as hell beats the Bay Area.
I used to attend the one and only Texas A&M University however I transferred up to the University of Arkansas where I’m at right now and I love it. It is hands down the best decision I have ever made.
University of Virginia. Great academics, I’ve lived almost my entire life in central Virginia, love the school, large southern school with lots of greek life. Great time. If only we beat tech in football this year.
I went to michigan state university for a year and i loved it. I left to come home and go to a CC to get my associates in fire science since i want to be a FF and i would have spent around 90-100,000 to do 4 years at state. State was awesome CC sucked i spent/spend most of my time visiting friends at different schools all over the midwest. Im only 21 but I tell everyone I can to go to a 4 year college and do the whole damn thing and enjoy it. Dont worry about loans and the such that will all work itself out.

I doubled in Business Economics and English and now work for the international division of a large medical technology company. I think it’s my stunning good looks and brains to match that earned me the salary, but the diploma is printed on pretty nice paper, Dwight Schrut would be jealous.

I’m 99% sure I’m going to head there for business school. I love Charlottesville, and think that part of the country would be a great change up from Northern California. My father went there and we visit a couple times a year, it’s a beautiful school with academics to match.
Texas A&M for a year, was thrown out, Lamar University for another year, then back to A&M to finish.
Learned you have to study twice as hard as you party and things work out fine.

No idea about Northern Cali, but I am a huge fan of cville. The business school is top notch as well, good luck
