Your Best 80's Memories

Living in a small town where you rode your bike every where and just had to be home before dark.

HS football

MTV (of course when they actually played music)

No idea about dieting or nutrition you just ate three squares a day and eating out was a real treat.

Arnold, Sly, Van Damn, Chuck, male actors were MEN and inspired you to be noble, strong and simply BADASS

I grew up on small Farm so we only had rabbit ears and three TV stations with no remote, so I would lay on floor in front of TV and hear Dad “Hey turn it to 3”

Yo MTV Raps. Introduced to white farm-boy at his grandmas house (she lived in town and had cable.)

Headbangers Ball

1984 Detroit Tigers

Mark Bavaro… Always seemed to catch a pass when it mattered, and he blocked.

Walter Payton.

Billy Sims. Not the original or the best #20 that the Lions ever had. But he was a good one. Heisman trophy winner from OU as well.

Note who his QB is.

No worries, he did start in the 80’s.

Best album for me

The first movie I saw multiple times. I was 10 that summer and had lawn-mowing jobs that kept me in enough coin to see this thing at least half a dozen times.

I love this damn movie.
