While I’m no great fan of religious zeal, I generally think my disdain for religion is something to be gaurded modestly and dispensed in private. However, given the nature of this thread, I think the conjecture is pretty appropriate.
As an aside, Headhunter, it is fascinating to me how quickly your stance shifted from expressing fascination with kids today…to denouncing evildoers.
Better that you had remembered what Paul said in his second epistle to the Corinthians:

headhunter, I know you weren’t addressing the question to me, but let me tell you why I am not bothered by harris’ stupid comment: it doesn’t matter. It’s not my job to tell off every retard that blasphemes. I will say that I find it offensive, and inappropriate, but that’s as far as it goes. There is no need for an argument, and no need to get upset.
Ultimately, I believe that each person will be judged for his/her behaviour. I believe harris will be held accountable for his comments in whatever way God decides. Bottom line, it is for God to judge, not me. I think you’ll live a happier, healthier life if you stop trying to make everyone adhere to YOUR beliefs, and stop trying to dispense justice. After all, you believe God is almighty, don’t you? Not only that, but I sincerely believe that you will help those around you much more if you just try to be the best person YOU can be, try to always do the right thing, and forgive people of their sins. After all, you pray that God forgive you of YOUR sins, don’t you?
Think about it, if God is willing to forgive everyone of their sins if they simply ask for it, isn’t it silly for you to hold a grudge just because someone says something idiotic?
Just something to think about.

I won’t even fall into simple insults, but this post shows how far gone you really are. It is not my job as a man or a Christian to run after everyone who says something “naughty” about God. First, that would be one pointless existence, and two, it would do no good in terms of actually uplifting the name of God or witnessing to anyone not willing to listen. No one attacked you for being against evil, you are being attacked because you are forcing your views on others and insulting those who disagree with you. It is that simple. You then do this in the name of God which has to be the most absurd and negative stance you could possibly take. God is proud that you called a woman who disagreed with you “unintelligent”?
Here you are now, trying to tell me how I am lacking when it is quite clear to everyone it is truly you who happens to be. You are like the kid who throws a rock through a window and then hides his hand…only to come back to the same house 5 minutes later to accuse the woman with the broken window of being evil for having one in the first place.
You have now questioned my integrity, my honor and my manhood simply because I disagree with what you are doing. This thread isn’t uplifting the name of God. It isn’t spreading truth. It is simply about you, an older man who is so out of touch with the world around him that he lashes out at anyone who disagrees with him and then names them “evil”.
The best thing for anyone who truly believes in God is to distance themselves from someone doing so much damage to his name…and then has the gall to claim he is doing it IN God’s name.
You asked what my father would think. He happens to think that he is proud of the man I have become and what has been accomplished by the grace of God in my life and for the lives of others.
