Young Blood. What to Do?

K so …im gettin back into pumping recently, i’ve gone on and off since i was 13 or 14 years old, im already a big guy but even though im young i m having a hard time recouperating the next day or so which is hindering my gym schedule.

im afraid i may have low testosterone levels, and of course im looking for gains. now im not looking for hulk like mass, or even to fill out to arnolds size, im looking for decent size improvement…chiseled features…and quick muscle regeneration,

basically im looking for opinions and have no idea where to look, or even what to look for. and commments or info would be greatly appreciated. message me if nessecary

I am not sure what pumping is - i will assume you mean weight training.

The answer is simple, people who train on and off, those who are ‘just getting back into it’ are not going to make the best improvements or have the best recovery ability.

Those that drink on a weekend, every weekend or do rec. drugs will also find their recovery is hindered, those that eat a large amount one day and barely nothing the next with meals per day varying from 1 to 4, and with no recording of macronutrienty breakdown at all will not get the best from their training.

Basically, you need to train regularly, the only time you have off from training is if you have trained for 2-3 months with no day off - and then you are allowed 1 week.
You eat mopre healthy foods, wholegrain carbs, oily fish and lean meats and supplement with protein powders.
You will progress in weight/reps or sets every workout - even if it is 2lbs or 1 rep more than last time - always do more than last time.
Make sure you stick to this for 12 months and come back.

Over time a highly trained body (natural or not) will become better adapted to training making more frequent sessions possible - adding warming up and cooling down to the workout (10 mins of each), along with a post workout shake containing at least 30g whey, 50g carbs, 5g leucine, 10g creatine.

If you are too fat, restrict calories from carbohydrate sources first (keeping breakfast and post workout), keep reducing until you start to lose weight. It is quite amazing how little calories one needs to maintain a decent amount of muscle mass, with low bodyfat and training.

If you do end up having low test levels you go to the doctor, not some steroid site online. This is a place for hardcore trainees who take the sports and hobbies very seriously (seems to be more newbs and less of the former recently but…)

I personally am not interested in your age, weight, height, bodyfat level or latest blood screen (which you wont have had) - as i am sure that the advice above will be enough to achieve the 3 goals you gave.

Go visit the bodybuilding and beginner parts of this forum, and go from there. PED based steroid use is not the answer.

Read the stickies and do some research. Follow the template on posting stats in the stickies at the top of the forum.

Also get your blood work done and check that you have low test. Don’t just assume you do. And if you have done that then post those test results. We work on facts or it didn’t happen!

Thank you for the advice…

i used the term on and off “pumping” loosely… i was serious about two years ago i was very much into macro and micro nutrients my training schedule was as strict and drawn out as possible…

i’d say about 8 months ago i became lazy, its not like im a user or abuser i just become content in life and felt that training wasnt my future.

now i revert back to basics back to what i love doing. And maybe its because i was young or just nieve( or both) but i wanted to be all natural. but now since i’ve had this extended period off from training …i feel like a bum like im unable to keep up…and maybe its just all in my head but it seems like everybody(once again semi-loosely used term) isnt as natural as i thought they once were.

so i mean …maybe to some im considered a newb… im just trying to understand…is everybody getting that little extra boost that im looking for? is it as dangerous as the media perceives?

thank you for your advices, and quick respnses this site has already proved extremely valuable and will probably be my first stop reference guide.

to answer your question steroids can be every bit as dangerous as the people using them or they can be used with a reasonable degeree of common sense and responsibility to further ones training goals

which categorie you fall into is not for me to decide but research is your greatest ally in this subject

there is worlds of information out there yet so many idiots using dangerously or just plain stupidly for what they are trying to achieve

I would advise anyone to not jump in but instead just read non stop for a few weeks if not months to gain an understanding into how the game works and how to do it smartly and safely for best results

Thanx again are there any places you would recommend on starting and/or followiung up on?

Read the stickies of as many steroid forums you can find - these will include cycle planning, drug profiles (the most important facts i believe in making beginner cycles for oneself), PCT protocols, dosing, time on and off…

Read the articles on the sites Mesomorphosis.com - there is a wealth of knowledge on that site and is an excellent resource.

Read the profiles available on most online pharmacies, and try to get a wide spectrum of writings on one drug - as many are either dated or have personal opinion in and you need fact, not speculative/subjective opinion.
