You Know You're Asian When

I’m not Asian, but I swiped this off of my Facebook feed from one of my nieces and figured this would be a good way to find out what it says:

depends on what I end up doing. They both have better departments/not. (I say as if I’ll have a choice between them lol)
That being said

Being cold > Being hot. And I like the snow

Direct translation: congrats, get rich

What it means: a holiday greeting along the lines of “happy holidays “

Children usually followed it with “红包拿来”(give me a red packet)
Basically, it’s tradition for kids to give and receive cash in exchange for season’s greetings

*never mind- that would’ve been my second guess lol @anna_5588

You don’t have a career plan yet :scream::rofl:

lmao
I’m leaning towards premed and when my arm heals I’ll be volunteering at the er to see if I like it.
Also could do engineering, business, math, law. Probably going to end up double majoring 1 being business or math

So technically, no I don’t have a plan. I have options though

Literally couldn’t get more Asian!
Do you have aFacebook? You seem like a genuinely awesome person

Not really much help with fitness stuff, but I could probably help with hs/college (sorry if this comes off as creepy)

I don’t have an insta

Cool! Mine’s Angela fan- the one without a profile pic, goes to Carnegie Mellon and blogs at The Red Braised Twinkie

I’m not sure what’s happening in the pic. The 2 chicks are opera performers. The words above them are in Mandarin(which were translated above) which is the national language of China. They’re pointing at a cat that’s sitting on a “Dragon Chair”, which is probably the emperor’s chair. The words above it are in Cantonese, which is the national language of Hong Kong, and mean the same thing.

It came from this meme lol

Lol now what does this meme mean?

It’s the stupidest meme ever created. Someone took a still from some Real Housewives of something-or-other and mashed it beside a picture of a cat they thought was fun.

And of course, the internet went wild.

Smudge (the cat) has come up with some hilarious shit! Got to give him credit for that.

Yes, to be fair, I have laughed out loud at some of the memes.

Any idea what it takes to get into these schools?

Grad school is easier than undergrad, but no cakewalk.

My brother graduated from Stanford in 84.

A lot of work, good recommendations, impeccable grades and luck

I’m a research assistant for Professor Lowenstein and he seems impressed with me so I guess I have a bit of a start??

I’m more worried about all the extra math I’ll need

Test scores and $$$ as well.

I mean, totally, go for it. Just understand the challenge.
