Although, despite being a boxer man I have to wear budgie smugglers for squat or DL.
Its actually funny to see the “leggings” phenomenon occur in Australia.
Especially where I live which is a smaller country town, where men are know to wear only blue jeans and singlet tops and only drink beer from a can.
Next minute: rednecks are walking into the gym wearing leggings. FMD.

I wear what I want. I do wear leggings in cold weather, but I’ve always worn shorts over them. I also have 4-5 pairs of what might be called man capris, and plenty of board shorts, basketball shorts, and running shorts. The only time I get annoyed with other dudes in leggings is if I’m running behind someone who isn’t wearing shorts over them. Of course, that just pushes me to work to get around them. I’m also an old, relatively hairy dude, and often run without a shirt, so I’m sure some get annoyed with me. Meh.

jeez I addressed this in like my first post!
so I managed to dumbbell bench yesterday without pain. First time for a very long time. I did them last in the workout so I was already good and warmed up, and didn’t need to use as much weight. My chest work currently looks thusly:
-Smith Incline (working up to one big rest-pause set a la Dante Trudel)
-Machine Press (ramping to a top set of 8)
-Dumbbell Bench (ramping to a top set of 12)
The plan is to stick with this for a few weeks, then once I am certain my shoulder is handling the dumbbells I will switch to doing them second in the workout, and then once I know that’s kosher then dumbbell bench will be back as my main chest exercise.
I expect the whole process to take 3 months or so. In the meantime I will keep doing my face pulls every day to try and satisfy the shoulder gods.
I do a lot of my dumbbell pressing with a neutral grip (palms facing each other, at more of a 45 degree angle) to spare my shoulders. Seems to work. Have you tried that?
yeah, never really noticed much of a difference. My hands like to sit halfway between neutral and pronated so that’s what I let them do
