I shared a car with a two guys I met in basic training to go on a little R&R in Florida.
One was white (his car, NY plates), one was black, and I am Apache (so I look Mexican or otherwise Hispanic).
We got pulled over no less than 4 times, while not speeding or doing anything. “Mind if we search your car” was asked 4 times, dogs twice. One cop finally admitted that a car with NY plates and 3 men of different races “always meant drugs.”
So kids: no driving while mixed races in panhandle Florida.

We generally marry early, and it is considered disrepectful to one’s wife to look at (or often even touch) a woman who is not your wife, mother, or child. In fact, if I can do it without being rude, I won’t shake a woman’s hand.
It makes the touch of my wife very special.
