Zepplin get back on your medication.

Bush was victim to a liberal media that aired and mass distributed every slip of the tongue. If he had been given the freebie pass the communist media gives Obama no one would have heard a thing.

Read up on your history and specifically why the U.S. went into Iraq. Everyone from Bill Clinton to your gay boy Barry thought Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Should we always wait until they kill our diplomats like they did with U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens in Benghazi?

If Obammy is head & shoulders above Bush why can you search the internet and find the same idiotic gaffes that he and Biden spit out, but that a communist media so eagerly hides from being shown more than once on TV?

Obama has kept policy the exact same with our military in the middle east.

In the dark halls of Abu Ghraib and the detention cells of Guantanamo, we have compromised our most precious values," Obama declared in a speech on Aug. 1, 2007. In one of his first acts upon taking office in January 2009, the president, flanked by admirals and generals, directed the military to close the prison camp within a year.

Today the detention center at Guantanamo appears less likely than ever to close. There are 166 people currently imprisoned, down from a high of 684 10 years ago in 2003.

Same policy different reaction to the media’s Black Messiah.

When he quits hiding his school records and shady past I’ll get on board…laffo.

There is no such thing as the liberal media. You have been conditioned to believe their is. So my advice to you would be to step out of the constraints of the narrow-minded debate and search out side. It is there you will find the truth. In the U.S. media is like Plato’s Allegory In The Cave.

There is a big difference between rhetoric and action. This is easily understood by even the most casual observer. I mean this in regards to Obama saying he was gonna shut down Guantanamo. He should have, he should stood up to the health insurance co’s and passed a single payer health care option, he should have reigned in the finance sector. But really what did you expect a moderate republican to do?

I didn’t see it as so outrageous but then I didn’t think Mitts quote was either. There is a big difference between making a shortbus joke and demonizing a group of people with falsehoods. If you don’t want discourse that’s fine if all you want is this forum to continue to be somewhere no one with opposing opinions cares to venture.

I know better than to come here but sometimes I forget and think I might learn something.

Let’s take Mitt’s quote out for a second.

So, using common misconceptions about special needs people to crack “a joke” is okay, but demonizing them with lies isn’t?

What if the follow quote too place:

Paul Ryan on the same set, “yeah I could have finished the marathon quicker but the smell coming out of the KFC near the finishline was brutal, you’d think I was black the way I drooling over the smell of that chicken.”

Now after you think about how you would feel about it, what do you think the press would say? I mean, is he just cracking a joke or demonizing Blacks with falsehoods by perpetuating a sterotype? Are all special needs kids bad bowlers, or just bad at everything, hense why his bad bowling is comparable to an event with special needs people competing? I mean if saying poor performance in an activity is equal to the best performance of special needs kids isn’t demonizing special needs kids with falsehoods, what would be an example of doing it?

I guess I would prefer the POTUS be above making “retard” jokes.

I don’t care what anyone’s views are, as long as they are consistant, logical and factual in nature.

Eh, you’d learn more than you think. Just have to allow it to happen.

Exactly how high is your security clearance? The exact reasoning for going to war with Iraq isn’t open source information. Nobody knows how just or unjust it’s exactly. However, I can see some reasoning behind it. But that isn’t nearly the same as being the president of the United States and going out and openly admitting “Hey, everybody. I sent Navy SEALs to kill Bin Laden!”. That put a giant cross hair on the back of all Navy and Naval Special Warfare personnel.

You might want to go look at what in in the Bekka Valley of Syria before you buy this line of bullshit. Remember Syria is run by the Ba’ath Party, the same trans-muslim political party to which Saddam Hussein was a member, which traces its roots to the parties created by Nazi Germany.

These are not good people and quite intent on both regional and global domination, as they have been for some 70 years.[/quote]

Maybe I’m mistaken as I thought the war was sold to the public by lying and telling us Iraq had WMD’s and that Husein was in cahots with Bin Ladin and the bullshit General Powell gave to the U.N. and on and on and on…

Just an awesome quote I heard: “For our democracy to survive we cannot rely on disagreements among rich people”

Iraq did have WMDs. They were trucked into the Bekka Valley.

That’s a good point. I think people look at the Iraq war a little too narrow minded, there could be dozens of official and legitimate reasons for us to have invaded Iraq. There’s also going to be reasons given to the public for invading Iraq because some of that information might be sensitive and classified. It isn’t like Saddam swore off violence and was investing the nation’s resources into the education and infrastructure, Iraq being active in Afghanistan was a strong possibility.

I suppose it depends on their definition of WMD’s. They changed the meaning as it suited their needs. But yes. the U.S. ought to know as it sold it to him;0

You started a thread basing one’s intelligence on their (in)ability to commit gaffes, in which case every president would seem like a bumbling idiot.

With things like Youtube, no one is immune to an occasional fuck-up.

Democrats are moaning because Marco Rubio took a drink of water during a speech. Not Vodka, but fucking water. This is when we should welcome the Mayans or asteroids.

So if I am keeping score, Bush make some gaffs and he is a moron?

Obama does the same thing and he is being kept down by the man?
