Man, this series makes no sense. The first film was phenomenal and the next one was awful. Who knows about this one.

 1. Remember the Titans- great
 2. Clash of the Titans- Awful
 3. Wrath of the Titans- ???

I mean really, where is this going…
I know, it’s like there’s no correlation between the first and the second two
Like the Mass Effect series.

I’ll be seeing it tonight. Hopefully its better than the first and it makes more than the Hunger Games.

Sam Worthington, don’t let me down a third time.
Alright dog save me some Money, I have a couple hours to kill it either this movie or Ill go find a Place showing the “Raid” again

LOL at wanting to make it “rated 15”. Honestly, why take your kids to see this if you are that uptight about it? From what I hear, they have so many cut scenes during any violent action that you really don’t see anything. It is just implied.

Keep your kids at home instead of trying to change the movie for the rest of the world.

I guess I don’t understand trying to make your own morals and values law for everyone else.
But…if they forbid their offspring from watching trendy movie, the fragile little cherubs will feel left out when the cool kids talk Hunger Games during recess…

I’ve got to agree with this. If it’s pg-13 then the only way that your kids can see it is if some one takes them so…don’t take them.

Seems simple enough to me. I guess that would involve telling a child no and heaven forbid we do that.

Anybody seen Immortals yet? They seem to have stolen WotT’s plot out from under it (Perseus defends the gods against freshly-freed Titans).

Edit: just realized that it’s Perseus in ‘Clash’/ ‘Wrath’ and Theseus in Immortals (fights the Minotaur). Make the above ‘hero defends the gods against freshly-freed titans’…

Roy I saw it, its okay. The Titans in Immortals was a let down IMO.

Are they the super zombie army on crack they appear to be in the trailers?

Sorry, was bullshitting. The Verdict:

Much better than the first one. Great special effects, good action(highlights being Ares), and the 3D was actually good. The only crappy parts were the comedic parts fell flat and were out of place. But they were so few and far between that it doesn’t hinder the movie.

As an action/fantasy movie, I thought it was great. I plan to take my nephews to this movie. See it in 3D, but make it a matinee. And fellas, make your girlfriend payback for dragging you to the Hunger Games by watching this movie.

I also the Immortals a few weeks back. If I had to compare the Titans between the two movies, I would pick the Wrath Titans. The variety, the powers, and looks are better than Immortal’s.

I give Immortals a C plus and I give Wrath B plus.

I would agree that The Titans were a let down, but I quite enjoyed other parts of the movie. Some pretty cool fight scenes, and Mickey Rourke was a bad, bad man. Very good villain.

Ditto on the B rating.

Saw it for the matinee price. Would be pissed if I’d paid full price for me and the missus.

PS WTF does popcorn and a soda cost $12? I don’t want to put people out of work but man make that shit self serve and cut the cost in 1/3.

Theaters make very little money from ticket sales, with most of the profit going back to the studios:

The theaters actually make most of their money from snack and drink sales…I’m hoping there’ll never be a day when purchasing snacks with a ticket will become mandatory.

Fuck that. I bring my own food. Then again, this was easier when I was on the motorcycle because I could justify the backpack. I may not be able to do that anymore.

Yeah I know they don’t make much on tickets and its all concessions. I also know its crazy to pay but its the whole experience for me.

Maybe they are putting crack in the popcorn so we have to buy it. Let’s get a govt task force on this pronto.

I honestly don’t begrudge people buying snacks during movies (even though the whole phenomenon of rows of people eating to images and sounds at prescribed times gets weirder the more I think about it): I don’t eat or drink during a movie (haven’t done so in years), which makes ME the weirdo, but if everyone was like me all the theaters would’ve closed down by now, so … thanks to all who buy snacks at the movies!

I wouldn’t be pissed seeing it at Full Price. I just know that most of the cheap skates on here would see it at a Matinee and be happy.

THIS!

Wait…so Chuck Norris is out?

The picture Edgy posted was for Expendables part 1

Wrath was pretty shitty, watched it on Thursday,

Remember things come out in Egypt first lol.

Hunger Games i watched this morning, and i said to the wife that it was kinda like Battle Royale and Condemned.

Hunger games was pretty good IMO yeah its teeny, the story was pretty cool i think and the killing was more graphic than i though it would be for a kiddy film. Especially when the ‘Game’ starts.

Looking forward to the sequels.
