No sir this is me. Popular as ever.
Go thru my posts marine. Bit of a bio. Nothing exciting. Have a log up but mainly cos I’m training like ass and losing motivation. I’m trying to kick my own ass. Could be here today, gone tommorow
One morning I had leg extensions to do, and all three of the machines had people relaxing and viewing their phones at once.
Remember in the 90s and early aughts in which if you asked someone to work in, they’d positively respond, instead of, “I have three more,” as they continued to rest.
I’m too easily deferred. Said pencil neck snoozes on machine that’s part of my exercise regime. Gerry silently cries and skips exercise. Ok how to fit in next time. Arithmetic it in with another workout. Because of that I do deliberately pick quiet times which don’t really fit with my real schedule but it’s the path of least resistance. If I can get 40 mins of quiet where I get a free run,I’m happy. Just workout quicker. Hitting failure with a minutes rest kinda sucks tho
That’s a true story and perhaps a paradigm shift in society where it’s gone from people being generally helpful and looking to please to “your invading my space bro”
That said keeping it reasonable when looking to work in… if waltzing up to a rack asking to strip the plates off, adjusting the rack and safeties whilst bro is mid way and zoned in is cool either
I liked my old powerlifting garage I went to when I was competitive. The more old, the better. If the gym doesn’t mess with my allergies I don’t want it lol.
If it was strictly all men, I’d honor it. Some time ago I went a women’s only gym, and the whole atmosphere was different. Pilates was EVERYWHERE. But I didn’t mind. The more cushy cozy lady conversations were nice though. Can’t complain either way.
I purposely inconvenience those dildos
Could care less. Effort and competence are not gender dependent.
*Couldn’t
Stupid, most gym are at least 90% male in the first place, and women train harder than men on average (they don’t train hard but most men just fuck around). I wouldn’t even want to be around only people that train hard because it would be annoying to share equipment. I prefer a non crowded gym with the equipment I need period.
That’s funny… frankly, most gym goers train lazily and are more concerned with their phones than actually training hard. I’m 48 and typically the hardest training guy in the gym. Some little dickhead last night was leaning on the Hammer preacher curl while I was using it playing on his phone
Should’ve dropped a 25 lb plate on his toe
*45 pound ! Kid was clueless … I almost smacked him. These teens are insufferable little jack0ffs
Can’t argue that point.
Completely accurate… Gyms don’t police these little rats either.
I know a few “ warehouse gym” where these future engineers would find themselves being thrown out on their ass.
We should bully them until they leave. Smug little weasels
What gyms are people going to where men aren’t working out very hard? Genuinely curious, not interested in a male vs. female debate.
I have not seen this categorically to the extent that men are flippantly lazy vs. female gym aggression. Not to say women don’t work hard but I don’t understand the juxtaposition.
I’ve been to large commercial gyms in the largest cities in the US with every imaginable amenity small warehouse gyms and even boutique bougie gyms.
