There isn’t a pattern. A lot of factors could impact results. As you can see, IA may be very close to LC/MS/MS. I’d get tested, but for the most part, would rely on your symptoms over the numbers.
That’s what I figured too. For me it’s still hard to nail that down. I never get sensitive nipples with high e2. The only way I feel e2 creeping up is moodiness and water retention, but I’ve also had Those same symptoms when low. Although sore joints is a dead giveaway for low for me. When I felt high, my joints would feel soft and cushy
What brand of needle is everyone using for sub q? I had one bag of BD easy touch and they were incredible. Stayed sharp after puncturing the vial, and they drew quickly. Also had minimal leakage after injection. Now I got some excel needles cause it’s all the pharmacy had and they’re the worst. Super dull, and I seemed to lose a lot of oil using them. Not to mention they take 5 minutes to draw with
Nipro have been good for me.
Has anyone got really bad test flu from trt doses? I’m hacking up bloody phlegm, my throat is really sore, and I’m getting some abdominal pain, and I’m sore all over my body. General weakness and really sore. Feels like growing pains times ten. Anyone else get this their first few weeks on trt?
Hey guys need some advice: I don’t know what caused this, or combination of things but after all my flu like symptoms started last week, I went to doctor about progress since being on trt for about a month complaining of the flu symptoms, bloody nose, and general body aches, stomach pains etc. My blood pressure which is always quite low was high, and my liver values that we had checked were through the roof. ( which has been a problem for me in the past ) needless to say, the doctor is taking me off trt already to investigate why I responded this way before progressing again. My question, since it’s only been about a month, can I come off cold turkey? Or would a 2 week clomid course be enough?v
This is what happens when you work with a doctor that isn’t knowledgeable, I doubt this doctor will be able to troubleshoot anything related to TRT. You need to start searching for a good TRT specialists, it’s difficult to find one through insurance.
Your wasting your time with this doctor, move on.
Yeah that’s my plan for sure. I just really don’t know when I’ll be able to get a new one and I’m wanna get back to baseline so my new doctor can properly evaluate me. Being I’ve only been on for 3 and a half weeks approx, would a 2 week clomid course be enough? I haven’t experienced a lot of atrophy. Maybe a little bit
A lot of guys get this. It is an immune response to a change in your hormone status. The body reacts like it is being attacked by a virus. WBCs will even elevate. Try lowering the dose to allow the body to adapt gradually. Once you get used to it, the symptoms resolve. You can do the usual flu things, VitC, zinc, fluids, etc.
Back in the day, I would get this almost every time I started a steroid cycle.
That’s what I figured I read about it, but my doctor said he’s taking me off so I don’t have a choice at this moment until I find a new doctor. Will clomid at 2 weeks be good coming off?
You haven’t posted any labs in almost a year, how can we help you if you don’t post labs? Thyroid problems will make you feel worse on TRT, UK doctors are typically terrible when it comes to proper thyroid testing and hormones in general.
My doctor won’t give me the labs I need, I’m in Canada and can’t buy them when I need them, so I’m basically out of luck till I find a new a doctor. Just wondering if taking 2 weeks of clomid after being on for a month will suffice till I find a doctor who knows what he is doing and will give me the labs I need
They control the information that way and it’s harder to prove your case and get treatment. It’s just plain rude.
Does anyone have alcohol intolerance since starting trt? I find now a days even more than 2 drinks and my sexual issues become way worse. But if I abstain, erections are better in a matter of a few days of no alcohol. I also find the day after having a few, I feel unreal sick. Like I drank way more than I did. And that feeling lasts all day.
Not TRT, but some reported this after taking anabolic steroids (which usually included test). Liver enzymes would usually elevate on AAS so it was thought liver metabolism was the issue.
Interesting. I also have really high numbers on Liver panels. Well ever since accutane…
It is interesting, but I really do not know. I did not drink. Alcoholics would presumably have higher liver enzymes, and they build up a tolerance to alcohol. The liver probably effects how long you stay drunk, not how long it takes to get drunk.
Many guys reported this phenomenon though.
Use some TUDCA and drink hot lemon water in the morning as well as 4oz organic unsweetened cranberry juice (super tart shit). This will help
Your liver immensely.
Will do thanks chief
Has anyone here had chest pain and discomfort that radiated into left armpit and arm, that resolved when they went on trt? I had this for years, and they told me my hearts completely fine even though it’s felt like I use to have mini heart attacks occasionally. On trt it doesn’t happen anymore. Can anyone explain this?
