You know, we almost always manage to bring a decent performance to the big events. This year might be a little early for this team though. Especially the defense is very young and has its problems especially against strong teams, as one could see in the blowout against Italy. We yet have to beat a top team. Have not done it in a couple of years.
That said, there are a couple of points why I am still confident that we will have a chance to win the whole thing:
The team played great at the Confed Cup. If they bring the same effort, we can play with the big teams.
If Klose, Podolski and especially Ballack are in good shape, we have a front court you do not wanna fuck with.
I guess it?s all a matter of how we start into the tournament. Our group is not that strong, so that might be possible. After the group games everything is possible.
Deutschland vs. England in the Finale would be a dream come true for any real football fan, man. I?d sell my girlfriend to be in the stadium and be a part of this.
I hope you guys use your potential and have a great tournament. I love English football.
