It was an entertaining games, with a lot of mistakes on both sides. Defense was poor on both sides. The Germans are very lucky to be in this poule with opponents like Costa Rica and Ecuador.

I don’t think they ll stand a chance against a proper team.

I am listening in work on my XM Radio. They are broadcasting the games in both English and Spanish. I am listening in English since I don’t know much Spanish, but I switch over when someone scores to hear Andres Cantor scream “GGGOOOAAALLLLLLLLLL”!

Yep, everyone watching the game at my house thought that too.

I was hoping Costa Rica would upset the Germans, but I found the game very enjoyable. Let’s hope this is the first of many great games.
