My father called me to tell me Spain won, I was kind of surprised to be honest. I always support Spain but Germany just looked to be playing really well. I guess it just shows anything can happen at World Cup.
I didn’t think Germany would completely dominate them, just beat them by a goal. Unfortunately I’ve been outwitted by an octopus.

Germany was lucky to get away with only 1-0. The better team won. I watched the game in a restaurant packed with Germans, and they started screaming anytime the ball got well into the Spanish end. In truth, there just weren’t that many good opportunities for Deutschland, but Spain blew some real beauties. The final should be good, and I can just enjoy it, since I root for both teams.

Pedro had an awesome game UNTIL then. He needed to slip it to Torres to give the guy the easiest tap in of his career. The confidence boost would’ve done wonders for Torres, and the Torrorest might’ve started in the final like the beast he usually is.
