Where do your sympathies lie? (Just as a matter of curiousity; I don’t particularly care)
I don’t particularly care either, but I was just rooting for Germany this time round.
I want the US and England to win today too.
damn it germany, you let me down. though klose did not deserve that second yellow in my opinion. it would have been a totaly different game with him in the whole time.

Aye - going down to 10 men that early in a professional sport basically makes your job way too hard. And if Ballack had been there, dude would’ve taken the penalty.
BTW was it a bad penalty or a good save?

On the positive side, this makes germany’s group far more thrilling!

A bad penalty.
That is why I said England might benefit psychologically - it is something they would have done.
I had the same thought about Ballack.
Is Podolski even German? Are there any real Germans in the team? I know Cacau is an import from Brazil.

The more I watch, the clearer it becomes that the ball truly is affecting play, and isn’t just being used as an excuse by the players.
Maybe at the end of the games we will all agree that this World Cup has been ruined by the ball and the voodoozelas - since the players have complained about both.
GO USA!!
I really hope the ball works for them again.
off to a good start america…

Goal Slovenia, dear god why can we not defend in the early part of any game.

Sadly true.
Your defence was wide open, like: “Welcome to the USA Slovenia.”
The mexicans would have walked right through your lines …
Wait, is that inappropriate?

HAHAHAHAHAHA
Oh no.
2X0 Slovenia.
Just when the USA had missed 4 opportunities to score…
Guys, what happened?

Wow just when it looks like they were turning it around and putting the pressure on, down 2-0. Not gonna make it out of group if they lose this game.

I like your goal keeper but the poor guy definitely needs some passport control.
Tighten up your boarders.
The team was actually doing well with some decent attacks but don’t neglect the defence.

Lol we posted that at the same time.
What the US needs is a guy called John Bradshaw Lakefield (I think that was his name?) to keep these pesky foreigners out.
