I saw an episode with a steady state aerobics class…so screw them.
What I want is a season of COPS that follows Ronnie Coleman

That chick is nasty. She looks like a botched, post-op tranny.

I Registered just to say that is Hilarious!
Yeah, that’s my problem too. My hot lesbian friend says that I’m a lesbian in a man’s body, and I don’t disagree, but DAMN would I make one ugly lesbian.
So I happily settle for the title of “honorary lesbian.”

Get a sex change.
That still wouldn’t make him a hot lesbian!
it would make him like the majority of lesbians
This show has gone drastically downhill. It could definitely be much more than it is.
Am I the only one that would be interested in seeing some of the clients making progress, or seeing what kind of workouts the trainers actually give? Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with the whole lesbian love triangle going on, but they’ve got to do something to get the show back on track.
Just my .02 worth.

You are not alone Modi. Unfortunately, I think the phrase “lesbian love triangle” instigates a sort of feeding frenzy whereby any ounce of plot or quasi-meaningful story will be torn asunder, somewhat like this thread.
I like this show a lot. Watch it every week. Guess you could say I’m hooked.
The bummer though, is that the gym is purely the set for all the drama that goes on. Might as well be on a sound stage. The equipment is minimal, there are no real free weights, although they do show a rack of dumbs on the sky gym website.
The female trainers look good, but don’t you think they’re mostly just looking for an opportunity to become actresses rather than really be trainers? Not sure.
Like it was mentioned before, though, Doug’s passing was a shock. Totally unexpected. They’ve been promoting the Jackie-Rebecca saga and that was shocking enough, but losing Doug puts a whole new spin on things. Dude was in great shape, healthy, apparently happy, and he dies at age 44.
It definetly woke me up. Life is short man.
Well, isn’t every heterosexual man essentially a lesbian trapped in a man’s body so to speak?
I mean, what do men want? Women. What do lesbians want? Women. ha!

Actually…throw in History Channel, Discovery, and some news and you’ve got just about everything I ever watch. Guess I’m a nerd of nerds, but I just don’t find watching other people’s live their life even remotely interesting. I’m too busy with my own reality tv show.
Hate to break it to you, but there is nothing “nerdy” about watching those shows. You realize they are programmed at 7th grade level, right?
Go pick up “Gates of Fire.” Then watch a History Channel Special on the Battle of Thermopylae. Go pick up an introductory text on forensics. Then watch “Cold Case.” Night and day.
One requires an attention span. The other does not. One requires active learning. The other does not. Indeed, there is very good reason that most of the guys I know how watch “nerdy” television don’t have a full book shelf.
I’ll never get guys who think watching “educational” television thinks that somehow better than watching trash. It’s like saying eating ice cream is better than eating candy corn.
Both are shit!
I hate to break it to you, but I’ve read “Gates of Fire” along with hundreds of other books, smart ass. Where did I imply that watching educational programming was a substitute for reading?
This may come as a huge surprise to you Law, but you aren’t the only one on this website who is educated. So you can dispense with the pejorative tone. We’ve all been listening to it for years now and it gets a little old.

CaliforniaLaw just has sand in his puss 24/7. He is a self-proclaimed renaissance man.
Keep in mind, this is the same guy who belittles others military training/service without giving his own credentials.

I’m with you. I’d like to see them focus more on training programs, diets and progress, although without all the soap opera drama alot of the viewers might get bored with the program.
I used to watch “The biggest loser” but got bored with it. There was progress but I wanted to see more about their diet and training, not the mind games, challenges and suspense.

So straight women will look at something like “Workout” or “The “L” Word” with a lot more curiosity and openness than straight men will look at say “Brokeback Mountain”. (I think a lot of straight men liked “Will and Grace” simply because it was FUNNY!)
Anyway…what do you guys think?
Mufasa
Well i wont see BB mountain. If thats your deal i respect that, i just dont wanna see it.
I love Will and Grace because i love Debra Messing!!!. Which is why the last season SUCKED!!!
This show is pretty hilarious. And there are lesbians. But the reason I’m digging up this thread is that I think I just saw Jamie Eason on tonight’s episode!
i was never gonna admit to watching this show, but i did watch it because it cracked me up. i was also glad when i saw jamie eason on the show, but what i ended up seeing was jamie eason disrespected. i probably should have been doing better things with my time and i am sure that i now will.
i must have missed that she is a cancer survivor. for those of us that were interested in how they train or if they really do anything i guess the answer is no. they had no idea who she is, which may not be a big deal to anyone outside this site and to some in it, but they go on to talk about how they hate her boobs. it was fucking dumb and i now realize what a dumbass i am for ever watching it.
I’ve watched this before out of curiousity.
From what I’ve seen, its been mostly just lessons on how to be a lesbo pimp.
Yeah, I like this show too. I’m on of those guys that can get upset at the television though, so I usually find myself yelling at the tv mid-episode.
The “work outs” are totally bogus and I want to strangle pretty much every employee, but Jackie is hot and I dig lesbians.
They should give me a reality show about my gym and all the drama I put up with, then they can show me training and how ridiculous I am.
My initial reaction after seeing Jamie Eason on there was WTF is going to Sky Sport and that douche given her options and available resources.
I thought that shit got cancelled.
I fucking hate jackie
I only watch it because its one of the few shows on tv about Personal training
T-Nation NEEDS A TV CHANNEL!
