For those complaining she is too skinny, you guys remember what Helmsworth looked like before Thor? Or Bale for roles like the Fighter and others inbetween Dark Night movies? Gerard Butler before 300? I mean even look at Cavil in the immortals compared to MoS. Jackman in the first X-Men from X-2, hell even Origins to the Wolverine. This is Hollywood. They will get her some guru, shoot her full of monkey hormones for 6 months and have her looking like an amazon warrior in no time. The most important thing is whether or not she can act.
I dunno man, I think the guys are a whole lot more receptive to ‘assistance’ with looking their part than a female would be. Not that the sterons are a requirement to put on some muscle in advance of filming, but if it comes to that I’d expect a whole lot more pushback from an actress than an actor who is already a gym junkie(which pretty much every actor in your list was except Bale who is notorious for going every bit the extra mile to play his roles).
None of those guys where gym rats. Helmsworth never even worked out, just surfed and was a skinny dude. Thomas Jane was really the same prior to Punisher. Butler was overweight. What about Tom Hardy before and really after warrior?

You really think the people in hollywood, male or female, would morally object to something like that when they are getting paid 2-5M to do it? Let’s simmer down and get back to reality.
The reality is that if an actor does use PEDs in preparation for a role, it will stay between the actor and the trainer for publicity and insurance purposes. The onus is totally is on the trainer to get the actor camera ready in time for the shirtless scenes, which are scheduled to the day. Manu Bennett is the only actor I’ve read about who admitted to juicing for a role, and that was for a cancelled MMA movie. He would never have admitted that if the movie had been made.

Then again, your typical Hollywood shot-callers know less about bodybuilding than movie making. Neither the actor or the trainer is contracted to deliver ‘x’ lbs of muscle on ‘x’ grams of test on ‘x’ date.

When the fuck did I say that actors wouldn’t or don’t use steroids? What I did say is that I think there might be more pushback from an actress because as socially/morally taboo or whatever it is for men, it’s absolutely absurd for women. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible that Gadot will do it, but I am hardly expecting her to be some top flight crossfit looking girl, or a figure model, or anything anywhere close to that. She’ll gain like 5-10lbs so her thighs aren’t the same thickness as her kness and she actually has an ass and they’ll call it a done deal.
