Wonder Woman Chosen

Most these picks you guys are suggesting are terrible. The actress needs to be an actor. Cameron Diaz and Charisma Carpenter are too old. She needs to be in her 20s. Colby Smolders; hot as hell and too skinny.
Smulders was actually cast as WW when Joss Whedon was prepping a solo movie for Warner. Then they did the short-lived TV series with Adrianne Palicki (pictured). The scrawny factor can always be worked around - just put the actress on a Gym Jones regimen like they did with Cavill. There should be a no implant rule, though. The thought of WW with fakies doesn’t sit right with me.
If Colby could put on some weight I’d be all for her. I’m also not going to 2nd guess Joss Whedon. I love everything that guy produces.

A lot of you complain that Gal Gadot is too skinny, not thick enough, not enough weight, bla bla bla.

This should make you happy.

The firing of Joss Whedon from the Wonder Woman movie is one of the reasons why I have very little confidence in WB. They let talent like that slip through their fingers and, Nolan’s Batman excepted, have no clear vision on how to produce a modern comic book franchise.

I get the impression that the powers that be over at Warners despise superhero movies and are just in it for the profit. Even though I liked Man of Steel, it could have been a far better movie if Snyder was left to do the job they hired him for. If I want to see Michael Bay-style giant death machines I’ll go and watch Transformers.

Batfleck is the least people have to worry about if this tanks. They’ll have screwed not one but three franchises in one fell swoop.

Varq is a wannabe Japanese so that explains it.

I would just like to point out that Rattleheads proposition for Wonder Woman does not get enough love.

You can find it on page 2.

If I was in college now, that would be a poster on my wall.

For those complaining she is too skinny, you guys remember what Helmsworth looked like before Thor? Or Bale for roles like the Fighter and others inbetween Dark Night movies? Gerard Butler before 300? I mean even look at Cavil in the immortals compared to MoS. Jackman in the first X-Men from X-2, hell even Origins to the Wolverine. This is Hollywood. They will get her some guru, shoot her full of monkey hormones for 6 months and have her looking like an amazon warrior in no time. The most important thing is whether or not she can act.

I dunno man, I think the guys are a whole lot more receptive to ‘assistance’ with looking their part than a female would be. Not that the sterons are a requirement to put on some muscle in advance of filming, but if it comes to that I’d expect a whole lot more pushback from an actress than an actor who is already a gym junkie(which pretty much every actor in your list was except Bale who is notorious for going every bit the extra mile to play his roles).

I suspect many Hollywood chicks would shoot heroin and coke straight into their eyes right after they get done puking up all their food if they thought it would make them look better for a role.

Sadly I think that there are (a lot of) people that would find that far more acceptable than a woman taking some Anavar.

None of those guys where gym rats. Helmsworth never even worked out, just surfed and was a skinny dude. Thomas Jane was really the same prior to Punisher. Butler was overweight. What about Tom Hardy before and really after warrior?

You really think the people in hollywood, male or female, would morally object to something like that when they are getting paid 2-5M to do it? Let’s simmer down and get back to reality.

To sort of make Waittz point. The link below talks about 5 celebrities (4 previously mentioned + Marky Mark) and how they gained their weight. Cut through some of the bullshit and use it for the pictures.
If you were an actor getting paid 100 million dollars for a movie, youâ??d do whatever it takes to fit the part for the role. Actors have gained (and lost) 60 or more pounds to fit a part â?? regardless of the consequences to their health.

Does that involve steroids? Itâ??s up to you as to what you want to believe.
You left off Steve Rodgers before and after the Super Serum. #allnatty

Really funny how Captain America is idolized for his character and morals and yet he is the fantasy poster boy for PEDs, and Bonds/Lance get shit on.

There was a thread a while back where we discussed the irony that the literal Captain America was 100% a product of something Americans feel entitled to utterly vilify.

C’mon, csulli, Captain America took PEDs to make sure we weren’t singing this at every baseball game:

Nobody thinks you need PEDs to defeat the French in a bike race.

Who can we argue has been the best/hottest super hero/villian casting?

My vote goes for Silver Fox in Wolverine: Origins.

Haha, people seem to get unjustifiably pissed off though at anyone who they find out has taken steroids. As though even if it’s not a professional athlete taking them, it’s still somehow cheating. Like you’re cheating at life I dunno. I don’t think people need to be up on a high horse about it regardless. And if you’re gonna finish that French bike race faster than all the other competitors, you bet your ass you need PEDs!

Hmm… So you’re making me choose between Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn, and January Jones.

I dunno.
