Wow…Just, Wow!
Yes, I know it’s from The Sun, but the story still stands.
Just goes to show, that the gastric band isn’t the easy fix most people seem to think it is.

Chips with gravy and boiled lollies?

wow…just imagine the amount of food one would need to consume, and the little amount of activity one would need to limit themselves to in order to die from that… fucked up shit mang
From the Sun article:
“She was found dead in her home in Barripper, near Camborne, Cornwall last December, and a post mortem concluded a backlog of food had stopped her breathing.”
I have to laugh when I think about the stupid bitch stuffing herself while thinking “well I think I can get 2 more peas down before my windpipe is blocked and I can’t breathe anymore”

What is the point of surgery if you immediately try to “get around it” by stuffing the food in places it shouldn’t be stuffed?
This makes as much sense as her stuffing it in her anus. A full esophagus doesn’t even mean you feel full…so what was the point besides gluttony?
Just a little more chlorine in the gene pool.
To me this is fucking sad. I lost 100kg through diet and exercise, my Dad got a banding; to say weight as a problem runs in the family is an understatement.
It’s a mental illness though in most people I see that are morbidly obese. However instead of treating the real issue - their brains - we treat the symptom - their guts - and this is what happens.
I dunno I’m a little bit for survival of the fittest and all that, but my contribution to society now is at least better than 50% of the population out there and it was all because I went and saw a psychologist and got myself sorted out. Then again I did that, no one made me.
I saw what you have to do to get a stomach banding (at least in Australia) and it’s a real joke. No mental checks, no dieticians, nothing. I think that’s retarded! Dad has been pretty okay since then but I think primarily because I told him to fucking see a psych after all his whinging and depression. However the number of people he’s met in support groups with bands that do completely crazy stuff like blending chocolate bars, or hamburgers or whatnot just so they can get them in is saddening.

I’m gonna go with a combination of idiocy, thinking the rules don’t apply to them, and developing the bad habits that led to this surgery in the first place. Do I win something…a cookie maybe?

All the cookies you can handle me stuffing in your anus.
If I had to live in Cornwall I’d overeat myself to death.

Congrats on your weight loss. That is an amazing accomplishment!
Insulin made her fat.

No, the chronic insulin elevation leading to a low blood sugar overriding her satiety signals which could only be helped by food consumption made her fat.
At least get it right.
