Harley, where is Edmonton?

Whisler has some nasty vertical.

I agree that Sun Valley is great for the total experience. Bring your dollars.

Jeff
Edmonton is in Alberta Canada. 3 hours north of Calgary. Calgary is about 3 hours north of Montana. Yes I am Canadian.
Here, I’ll prove it.
"Hows It Going Eh?

For actual skiing my favourite is Whistler/Blackomb, but I think the village there sucks. Banff and and Lake Louise and the resorts there are great, but my favourite Canadian resort is Tremblant in Quebec. They don’t have the vertical of the rockies, but the village and nightlife is fantastic. I have’nt been to any of the resorts on the U.S side of rockies other than Taos N.M., but that was during the summer months. Love to see it in the winter. I’ve done most of the resorts in Vermont, NY and eastern Canada, and a good many in western Canada.

Harley, so you got some snow, eh? How much??

It’s snowing in Salt Lake right now and it’s supposed to snow off and on into next week. I’ll post the inches for Alta, Snowbird, and Brighton next week. Looks like the season might be off to a good start.

think we all need to plan a Snowboard get-together!!! (should be in your area Gord soon).

In faith,

Coach Davies

Jeff
Just an inch or so, but I think it is here to stay. Very f’ing cold though!

Harley

I just bought a seasons pass to my local and am grabbing a new deck tonight. A bit of snow (6") in the mountains here and the temp keeps on dipping below zero.

A group sess sounds great coach D. Are you coming to BC?

Hey guys… I am thinking about buying a new board. Any recommendations?
I would like to keep it under $800.00 CAD for board, boots and bindings. (thats about $150.00 US)
Does Burton still rule?
