Is that Collusion or Quid Pro Quo?

You should black out your signature as well. Don’t need ID theft hassle.

Ah, didn’t realize that was the Arizona Senator Jeff Flake. Leaving my stupid post here. Lol

When I saw this I thought the exact same thing. Immediately google’d “Jeff Flake” hoping to see some picture of ED wearing weird eye goggles or some shit.

Needless to say I am disappoint.

Same.

I mean who can blame us? There’s like 100 Senators, we can’t be expected to know them all. That’d take a level of caring as an amateur politico that I don’t posses.

If it were me, the word “party” in the “Country over Party” line would have a completely different denotation.

I started to make a little joke back there with a pic of Daniel Craig and Jeff Flake. You’d have to know that I’ve made lots of jokes here about how Daniel Craig is crush worthy.

Are Momons the New Conscience of the GOP?

Bannon plays the religious bigotry card. No surprise.

Bannon trolling people and getting responses. Every outrage he causes makes him more money. Just like Lavar Ball.

I liked Romney. He wasn’t perfect, but he seemed like our chance to get a statesman. This is why we can’t have nice things.

It sure seems that way of late.

Yeah, unfortunately we’re used to it. Bannon knows there are very, very few Mormons in the South, and a lot of people who have no Mormon friends so it’s not risky to be disrespectful to Mormons in Alabama.

And there’s this kind of thing.

“Writing in The Atlantic…,Kurt Andersen praises members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or Mormons for their “sincere commitment to leading virtuous lives” while simultaneously snickering at their “extreme and strange” beliefs.”

"The liberal television personality Lawrence O’Donnell even admitted, after an on-air rant about Mormon founder Joseph Smith, that he wasn’t worried about any negative consequences since “Mormons are the nicest people in the world. … They’ll never take a shot at me.”

“And while 7 or 8 percent of Americans say they wouldn’t vote for an otherwise qualified black, Hispanic, or female presidential candidate, fully 18 percent of Americans still say “they would not vote for a well-qualified presidential candidate who happens to be a Mormon.” The figure is “virtually the same as the 17 percent who held this attitude in 1967.” Mormons today would evidently fare better than, say, an atheist or Muslim candidate, but the remarkably persistent numbers since 1967 are telling.”

Lawrence has obviously never met @anon71262119.

I am sure that number is MUCH higher in “The Bible Belt”…and certainly contributed to Romney’s loss to President Obama. (Even though there were many on this site that argued that fact).

When I first read that I read Mormons as Morons and was going to bring up Alabama.

Lol.

What I lack in height, I make up for in pure MEAN.

Thank you, but I’m pretty sure that’s @Mufasa. I’ve completely lost my cool a few times here, but I hope to deserve that title in 2018.

Question. If the people of Alabama elect Moore, and then the Republicans all insist that he step down, refuse to work with him? Would they have to go through the whole process of holding another election? I’m assuming this may vary by state. How to replace someone.

In other related news…

Franken tweeted that he’s talking to his family, and plans to make an announcement tomorrow.

Aren’t Mormons pretty strict adherents to conscientious objection? That’s my understanding of their position.

If so, that makes Bannon look like a complete imbecile.

Yes. And there’d be nothing to stop Moore from running again.

Also, look at the president and his kids.
