Will Acne Clear Up By Itself?

I ran a cycle of 500mg test E for 13 weeks and 300mg of deca for 10 weeks. I got some acne on my back from the deca (I’m guessing because my previous test only cycle caused none). I ended the cycle about 4 months ago and I still have pretty moderate acne on my shoulders and upper back. None of my face.

Is this something that will eventually subside, as I had very clear skin previously. Or should I look into some kind of drug/medication?

i don’t know about it clearing up by its self. try getting a acne body wash soap and a sponge with a handle so you can reach your back.

also after you get done working out take a shower. i read about a lot of people taking showers twice daily one AM and one PM. but i would rather do in the morning then after working out.

if that doesn’t clear it up. try getting some antibiotics through a dermatologists

Don’t just wait for it, bro. Get some kind of topical medication. I suggest the Neutrogena Acne bodywash with salycilic acid. Don’t scrub it really hard as this will just irritate it. Towel the water off gently and don’t over tan because this will cause your pores to produce more oil to compensate for the dryness and exacerbate the condition. If it isn’t gone in a couple weeks after that I would see a doc for sure. Good luck.

Bro, no offense but that shit is foul. I can’t imagine working out then sleeping at night in my sweat and not showering until the following morning. That would be horrible for your skin. Cutler showers 8 times a day. THAT is excessive, 2 times is hardly that.

There is a really good over the counter Clearasil product cream. It’s guarenteed to bring down the size and everything in a few days i have used it myself works really well. You keep appyling that it should bring it down reall fast in about a week if its real bad.

Thanks guys. The only reason I have hesitated to see a doc is knowing that deca will be in my system for a long period of time, I’m assuming it is still affecting my hormones, thus keeping the acne around.

I have been using some mild acne cleaner from Neutrogena. It has salicylic acid in it. I will try to get something a bit more powerful, if that doesn’t help I’ll see my derm.

Have anybody tried Accutan or L-ISO or similar. Also I think it was AR that talked about using Nizarel shampoo to deactivate DHT on the skin. I have tried none of the above but maybe other people have and could give you some info. Good luck. NB need to sort mine out too and wanted to give the above a try when I am off next.

I had very bad acne in high school. I used accutane for about 4 months and have been completely acne free ever since. I cant remember the exact dose. Even seemed to clear what I thought would be permanent scars. Use caution, as accutane is a very powerful medication.

I shower at least 2 times a day. Morning always, often when I get home from work, after the gym always, after sex unless I am too tired. I think 8 is a little excessive.

Use a gentle soap like Dove or Purpose. Bathing too much just irritates your skin and could possibly cause more acne. Showering right after working out is a given but showering 8 times a day will just screw with your skins chemistry more. If its not on your face it’s probably not that bad.

I had the same problem and I used proactive and the shit clered right up. The problem with acne meds is that they are full spectrum antibiotic and can cause other problems in the digestive tract.
