She does… but maybe she doesnt have the correct ones up.
Just to clarify, I’m not a cop. I was a correctional officer and an infantry Marine, both of which involve firearm handling and lethal force but neither of which involve ‘real-world’ application (warzones and prisons are not, strictly speaking, the world that most of us live in). Since getting out, I’ve had to learn really simple things that a lot of people consider obvious, like getting hollow points for my home defense weapon instead of full metal jacket (though an unofficial safety rule we learned was “know your target and what lies beyond it”, which essentially covers you if you follow it, but still). My point here is that a lot of my knowledge was applied in areas of the world that have special rules (or a lack thereof), and it’s important to examine my advice with a bit of a legal mindset, like @twojarslave did. I stand by my recommendation of a .22, and I will always think that shot placement > caliber, but it’s important that nobody thinks of me as a cop, or take my advice like I’m one.
Oh for fuck sakes! I swear that the supervisors become dickless when my wife has to terminate someone! Amazing how they become scaress! She went in last night to let someone go and had to get one of the roughest guy there to have her back if things went south. For the record she’s carrying mace for her protecting couldn’t get her to carry a side arm.
That’s crazy, I can’t imagine being in a situation in the civilian non-public servant world where doing my job could get violent.
Well not exactly your white collar types.several have non felon records.
