Why does every cycle need to have a test base. All steroids are a form of test right? They all shut down testosterone right because the body see an increase of test right. Then why use a testosterone base for every cycle if test is the most supressive of all tests?

Testosterone is an essential hormone for many, many, physiological processes in the body. It also converts to Estrogen, which is neuroprotective and cardioprotective, two things that are extremely important for your health.
A Test base is not mandatory. But you would be taking serious liberties with your health, and likely feel like complete dog shit, without it.

Testosterone is the one ring that rules them all.
Most of the other injectables are some part of testosterone.
They were tailored or engineered to do specific tasks. Most were not designed for human consumption but for race horses, beef cattle, chickens!?! yep chickens.

Because it converts to estrogen
You could use nandrolone as a base. It was fairly common in the golden era.
Ok so would it be a bad Idea to use proviron as a base since it doesn’t convert to estrogen.? Im planing on running some methasterone with proviron. Reasoning is Im trying to run things that don’t convert.
That would be a bad base. You want the conversion because you need estrogen to function.
Dbol would be the only oral to use as a base. Deca (as said above) since it aromatizes a little bit but not as much as test

To avoid using AIs. They seem give me terrible mood swings. I have some on hand and will use them if needed.
I would run a TRT dose of test as a base, and add compounds that don’t aromatize very well.
Test + Primo
You can add an oral or HGH depending on your goals for the cycle.
The base test will be low enough to not give you high E2 symptoms, you can keep bumping it up until you reach the spot where you might consider needing an AI, then back it off a hair. Use a short ester like prop or acetate so you can fine tune easily. This should keep you feeling great during the whole cycle.

Do you know if you need AI’s? Not everybody does. I don’t so far
Oldschool cycles didnt have test as a base, nor did many people ever used test.
Nowdays we just seem to know better. Test is the most natural of all steroids for a male body, so it also has least weird side effects, because it already is in our body, so just having it a bit more is much less of a shock. Thats how all the beginners start with test only - it is something we already have, we just take a bit more. Also, it is a great drug, can be ran alone for long periods of time or even - forever, with mild side effects(dose dependant tho).
Other steroids, have weird side effects, like libido issues, all this “tren dick” and “deca dick” where you do have a libido, but your dick just does not work etc. Different mood swings, agression or depression etc. Test seems to negate all of them, if it is used as a base. So we start with test, which is the most natural to us, and then we experiment on adding stuff, because test makes it all more stable and negates most side effects if done right.
