In truth, no matter how many flaming posts I get for this it really draws its roots from Islam and from the medevial era. Islam the faith supports violence. The quran can be very supportive of violence in some passages. I know it does because I have read it.
The truth is these people have not moved out of the dark ages. They want to recapture all that muhamud had or wanted. They want to control Jerusalem. They are trying to launch a modern day crusade, but they are etheir unwilling or too cowardly to do it conventional battle. So they take chap shots. But they don’t care because, they are shit like that with no morals or under lying decency. Its akin to someone small and weak running up to a huge built 6’ 5’’ guy, punching them in the balls and running away. All the while claiming they are brave and cunning and shit.
This isn’t a generatonal issue, its a moral and fundamental decency issue. Which some fail to see. [/quote]
This is not what fuels recruitment to their cause, do you think that any islamic extremist group is recruiting young men under the banner of recapturing land or any of that other nonsense, no they are using political issues to recruit people.
The reason for the ever growing popularity and support of Islamic extremist groups is that they are seen as “freedom fighters” standing up to the people that they percieve are oppressing them. The real issue we need to look at is what is causing ordinary people to support these organizations, the motives of the leaders does not matter so much because if there is no support for their organization they will not be able to recruit or have a reason to exist.
