Why Do Americans Care So Much About Freedom

FIFY. cause you know us liberals like it to be PC even when saying libertarian things haha

True. But then again, let’s be honest, men have more demanded/expected of them than women. The most dangerous jobs are predominantly done by men.

If a woman enters a room with 10 women and one man, and needs help lifting something, she will ask the one man for help. And he will be seen as a dick if he says to ask one of the women.

We have certain obligations in life if we want to live in a civilized society. Freedom is really a vague word that can mean anything depending on context.

I don’t think I buy this one. Maybe expected, but IMO, women do more actual work than men. This is when accounting for household work, child rearing, career, and of course this is on average, and just my observations.

Doing laundry is almost as dangerous as being a lumberjack.

Sure. I tend to do the more dangerous tasks. I knocked a car off of jack stands once trying to set studs in a hub (luckily I placed some blocks under the car before doing so). More is expected in that regard. As far as what I would rather do, I would much rather do the dangerous tasks. It would be more demanding for me to do the stuff I don’t like than the dangerous stuff I don’t mind.

The reality is, men have to do them regardless of what they want because women can’t.

If you were picking between being a typical American man or woman based on average work load (and type of work), what do you pick?

A man. There’s a reason why men die younger than women.

Me too.

It appears that age of death gap is narrowing between men and women. I don’t think we know why yet, but many speculate it is because women are now experiencing more stress due to having careers. A lot of our data up until now did not have old (age of death) women that worked much their lives.

American men are becoming women… Lowest T rates ever and rapidly declining.

Yes. To an extent, of course. Freedom in a vacuum =/= freedom. In my estimation.

America has it waaaaay too easy. We take EVERYTHING for granted. Hard times are on the horizon.

Yeah…men now are in touch with their feelings and want to share them with their women, and talk about something mean a coworker said…and women can’t take it, because that crap is draining and listening to someone that sounds like a woman day after day makes you lose your will to live…

At least that’s my theory on why the age of death gap is narrowing between men and women.

Yep… And this push towards plant based living too

Fewer of them cook. The worst thing about working with women is that they always bring food to share with others. By food I mean cookies, cake, pie, etc. So they’re eating shitty food more regularly. They always seem to get offended when I refuse to eat any of it.

I just take a small portion to avoid this. Sometimes I’ll cut stuff in half.

100% agree. This was where I was going there.

This is sad and scary. They end up taking other people’s freedom with it If someone wants to live that way it’s fine but don’t ruin it for people who despise that idea.

I think this is a fascinating area of interest actually.
