Yes Chushin, I’m neither a devout muslim or a cholar, I am just doing my best to help you guys see that not only you are affected by this we are as well and the fight shouldn’t be fought just by you guys but also by us. But again Bush (doubya) chose the wrong battlefield, this should have been fought by attacking ignorance not physically attack. As this caused the rest of the world to think that all Americans are a bunch of hill billies. I appreciate that you discuss things freely, but guys from a moderate(open minded) muslim the problem aint with islam the problem is with poverty, ignorance and unemployment that leads to fuckers having too much time , and misinterpreting anything they can get their eyes on and thats what happened in islam. The attackers on 9/11 were not illiterate, quite the contrary.

Also, the assurance that people of the book are relatively safe does not help me much, since I am not one of them.

Orion there is a world of difference between being Illiterate and being ignorant. When college education is for next to nothing, you get to see PHd holders in a field who know nothing about anything else, In Egypt we have a saying that the worst of the lot are those with a formal education, cuz it generates middle class people with no rational thinking capabilities. Read books by Naguib Mahfouz(novels) it will help you understand this in our 3rd world nations.

Mate your choice is yours and mine is mine, live next to me and we’ll live peacefully.

Perfectly written. They are not supposed to try and convert you. They are to convert you or kill you.
Not if you are Jewish or Christian they are not.
That’s not correct. They attempt coversion, by force if need be.

What they will do is permit “people of the book” to live as dhmini (under the “dominion”). That is, you are allowed to live, but are not a full citizen, your testimony doesn’t matter in court, have limited civil rights, and have to pay a jizya — or a special, additional, tax penalty for being Christian or Jewish.

Eventually they make dhminni status so unbearable and the jizya tax so high, you either flee or convert.

It’s all about subjugation.
Ever religion has some sort of superiority issues
for example the HOLIEST books of the religion of JUDAISM and the books that are the foundation of the entire secular culture of the JEWS religious or non-religious are known as the TALMUD, a racist, bigoted series of books full of VILE HATRED toward JESUS,CHRISTIANITY,CHRISTIANS, and every other non-Jew, as well. The TALMUD calls for the eventual slaughter of ALL GENTILES!

And to be honest with you i like my balls

Weby, all I see from you is hate slinging. I guess your religion is showing its ture colors in you. You are confirming our arguments about the religion of Islam.
It is true though that the Talmud can be, um, interesting?

As an Arab and a muslim, I would never say all Americans are red necks, or all christians are unibombers. But what I believe is there is a bad bunch of apples amongst my people who have gone bad due to oppression poverty and ignorance. I also say it’s the worlds responsibility to cure these bad apples before thinking about chucking them away. So if you please chill and relax and instead of insulting a religion with 1 billion followers and only a few thousand extremists, think about how you can illustrate to the world that you should not be the target of those extremists.

I leave you with a verse from the Quran " If you strive for peace, all shall follow" I guess Bush Sr should have read this 22 years ago. It could’ve saved us all lots of drama and pain
Because Saddam invading Kuwait was peaceful?

Cannot follow your thoughts on this.

you know, when he invaded Kuwait, Saddam wasn’t even trying to pretend he was a muslim
his party, the Ba’as, was a pan-arab socialist party, advocating secularism.
some of his ministers were Christians.
In fact, Michel Aflaq, the founder of the Ba’as Party was a Christian himself.

during Saddam Husein’s reign, Irak was the only country in the Persian Gulf not ruled by the Sharia.

he started to express religious concern only later, mainly for propaganda reasons.

and mate no body would consider saddam a human being and him marketing himself as a muslim was a shame to all of us

Agree with that. Should they have let him stay in Kuwait?
