I wouldn’t have expected there to be that big of a difference between a jaguar and a mountain lion since they both look to be about the same size and probably have largely similar evolutionary forces driving them to be more aggressive and dangerous.
They are not the same size. That’s an illusion.
Having seen both in person on multiple occasions (zoos and a big cat sanctuary), the jaguars have always been bigger than the mountain lions.
However, wikipedia lists them as fairly similar in average size and weight ranges. So I dunno.

Yeah the average sizes are similar but also consider the denser build and higher size potential of the jaguar. Cougars are typically longer while jaguars have low shoulder height compared to their weight.

I don’t mean to come off as cocky, but I feel I’m fully capable of taking on a full grown Grizzly Bear. They might weigh upwards of 500lbs, but I can yoke well over 700, and lets be honest, if I’m opted to deadlift it, I will do so, and incapacitate the beast. I’ve got a pretty good grip, so I don’t think it’s going to be able to get out of my clutch, and as for it’s teeth, I’m very quick. They call me the Steel Wizard.
A mountain lion will definitely win against me, though. It’s far too quick, and if you play mortal kombat, you’d know that if you play a fast character and learn combos, you can pretty much destroy the big guys like Goro and Shao Kahn. It’s a principle of nature.
THIS IS THE GREATEST POST OF ALL POST EVER POSTED!!

Someone is jelly that they can’t choke out a bear and learn fighting skills from Mortal Combat I see…sad

I didn’t learn to fight watching movies or playing video games. sounds like your still lost in a fantasy world. Paddington would probably take you 2 out of 3

Giant squid? ROFL! What animal could possibly be more vulnerable to the eye gouging brain scrambling technique?
A regular sized squid.
“current estimates put its maximum size at 12â??14 m (39â??46 ft) long”
“Unlike the giant squid, whose arms and tentacles only have suckers lined with small teeth, the colossal squid’s limbs are also equipped with sharp hooks: some swivelling, others three-pointed.[2] Its body is wider and stouter, and therefore heavier, than that of the giant squid. Colossal squid are believed to have longer mantles than giant squid, although their tentacles are shorter”
“On February 22, 2007, authorities in New Zealand announced the largest known colossal squid had been captured. The specimen weighed 495 kg (1,091 lb) and was initially estimated to measure 10 m (33 ft) in total length”
Squid are also extremely intelligent. I remember watching a video (can’t find while at work) were multiple squid worked together to distract and then overwhelm a diver. She lived, but the squid were pretty small and she had some nasty cuts.

I also didn’t realize giant squid and Colossal Squid are different. I mean’t the Colossal Squid
If I were going to fight a colossal squid I would upgrade my weapon to Poseiden’s Trident.
