Who'd You Rather Fight

Gimme a chainsaw and I’d take the bear.

I don’t think anyone really has a chance against the bear (beyond trying to get it to leave). The problem is that wild animals keep going even after what you would expect to be a fatal wound. You could stab a bear all the way through with a spear and you still probably wouldn’t stop it.

Against the crocodile, you’d probably be better off with a weapon that could easily be used in one hand a close range, like a long dagger or katar. Even if it gets the drop on you, it’s head is nearby and you have a shot at landing some blows. The big thing that isn’t determined on the crocodile is whether you are in waist deep muddy water and can’t see it coming or are in a waist deep swimming pool and know where the croc is.

Same.

I think part of it is that the tiger is more of a loner and can (has to) take care if itself, while a lion tends to rely somewhat on the support of the pride.
Depends on male or female. If we’re talking male lion, not lioness, then statistically they have much more “combat” experience than tigers do. Lions fight other lions (and hyenas) more often than tigers have to fight other tigers or predators. Tigers mostly just go around owning herbivores lol.

I choose the crocodile in water. My weapon of choice is my loyal, yet croc murdering bull hippo…with saddle.

Hm, I wasn’t aware that male lions actually had much combat experience. Certainly it happens, but I figured it was fairly rare.

Ligers though, that’s a pretty real fear.

He’ll likely kill you too though. Hippos kill more people in African than any other animal…

Nature, you crazy!

This is quite possible the saddest nature video I have aver seen…

That’s because they tip over boats and African people can’t swim because… Well you know why

I really don’t… No safe water to practice in?

EDIT:
Found this answer elsewhere. I had no idea this was a thing.

"It has been suggested that black people have higher bone density than white people which makes black people better at running and white people better at swimming. There was research that proved this but I also remember reading other research that disproved it. Sorry I can’t remember well enough to give references here. This doesn’t explain why in America it is rare to see black people swimming competitively as black Americans have mixed with white Americans over the years so any supposed racial difference has lessened.

I can understand why many black people in Africa can’t swim, there are very few swimming pools on that continent and the wildlife in the rivers and lakes makes swimming a very stupid idea. I think racial stereotypes affect both black and white people, black people who believe them are less likely to think of taking up swimming and white people are less likely to encourage black kids to take up swimming.
With people I know personally, some can swim well, some not at all, and colour doesn’t seem to enter into it."

Ya, true story. I’m surprised Australians can swim.

which one you wanna take on?
I’d rather fight the bear in the first question (because at least I’d be in my own habitat) and the anaconda in the second (because sharks are just more terrifying lol).

As for a non-projectile weapon, I’d go with a Scottish broadsword lol. I wouldn’t want anything too big and unwieldy (like a big axe or two-handed sword), but it would have to have decent stopping power and the basket-hilt would come in very handy.

As for the tiger or lion I’m not sure there would be much difference, I’d probably go for the lion though because they can’t swim and I don’t think they are as good at climbing as tigers, so there is possibly a greater chance of escape.

But…he’s loyal. Anyway, even if he does kill me too that is victory according to the rules.

I’m going with the lion.

If Maasai warriors take out lions with these little clubs I think if stand a decent chance with a set of nun chucks or a bow staff.

I’m not sure death by another animal counts as a win…>_<

Well then I choose the crocodile in water with a MK3A2 stuffed chicken on a pole.
