Bed ridden on Sun, was going to go to a yoga class that night too. I’ve lost any yoga motivation so thought going to a class might help, next week after snorkeling hopefully. I need a new stomach.

Pooey, no back/shoulders tonight, but will nip off to pool at lunch. Client has an award thingy I have to attend. Wasn’t up for anything last night either. Hopefully get a nice session in on Thursday to make up for it, going to try the 35kg push press for a set.

Not sure if its TOM but up 5kg, eek. Trousers fitting a little too tight, but must keep building a good base. Think some of it was just not losing anything from Xmas. Was thinking of doing CW’s 10 x 3 for fatloss in April, hopefully I can do close grip benching. Wanted to do RFFL again but it takes up too much equipment and room.

Did our swim test for diving club last night, I guess I should be swimming like that all the time. Went to a yoga class at lunch, it was just a fast enough pace to get slightly sweaty. Think I’ll go back next week.

Shoulders/back tonight. I keep saying this to myself, but gotta pay attention to the protein again, tsk tsk.

Lack of energy and oomph this workout. Skipped trying out the 35kg push press, 30kg just felt heavy and too much coordination involved with cleaning the bar up and not hitting my head on the way up and down. Did go up on the arnie presses

Woke up quite sore. This time of the month isn’t my strongest, must keep track & keep this in mind next month, 2 weeks time I should be at my strongest.

I heard buckwheat flakes for breakfast gives you an extra boost! lol

Do you keep a training log while you’re at the gym?

I have one of the cheap little Steno books that I log everything in. How I felt, etc.

I found it really helps in noticing trends.

No I don’t keep a notebook which is why I come on here to babble.

Well more to do with ‘the’ aunt visiting me, if ya know what I mean. I used to be really intuned with it, but my poor old pig headed coach had me just train through it. Will start again, especially if I ever start training for relatively serious enough strength again.

I’m feeling quite the brat on everything too, don’t want to get out of bed, don’t want to go work, don’t want to clean, don’t want to walk to gym (although I’ll feel better once I’m there, same thing for cleaning). Going to go slap some sense into me and go do last Sat’s workout.

2- min jump roping, I seem to be getting worse at these, even after skipping KB swings & hi step ups.

Some good stretching. I think the gobs and sumos, along with pidgeon poses & standing at work are helping to loosen the piriformis. Went to PT on Friday, and he normally does this thing to stretch it, BUT I didn’t want to punch his face when he did it this time. Maybe the yoga class helped too. Might be able to front squat again.

I might try the IIFYM thing in March, might be a challenge since I don’t really eat meat, I know even though I’ve upped my calories since Dec, trying to get in 155 protein without too much fat or carbs is hard. Might up the fat a bit and go down on the carbs.

Anyway body needs sleep after working out and cleaning for a fun Saturday. Going to try to get to evening hatha yoga class for some mellowing out man.

So much for a mellow yoga class, that was not the relaxing hatha that I’ve done before. And was slightly harder than the other yoga class doing vinyasas. He had us hold the poses for 2 mins or more at times. He did remind me to keep an eye on my hyper-extension and correct my downward facing dog, apparently my heels go in a bit and are not parallel with the mat.

Was fooking tired after that, and also the soreness from Sat’s workout kicked in. Don’t know why I was so sore from the lifts, its not like I’d never done them before or really increased anything.

The muskles do feel a little fuller though. Weight seems to have stabilised a bit at 70kg, oof waist is at 28in, really don’t want to know the hips or the puffy part of stomach that has crept up on me the last year.

Me sick. I can feel those little mother f-ers warring with my immune system. Got in shoulder and back the other night before they hit. Got soaked twice so that probably didn’t help.

DI discovered that I can do hamstring slides. Will add these to pre-gym hamstring days when back on my feet. Have these socks that slide on our floors ok and did some no moneys. Still feel like shit, can’t breathe too well but did a tiny bit of restorative yoga, fell asleep with my legs up the wall.

Dragged ass to gym, think the hacking and snots are just about over. I needed to appreciate the stamina & strength I had a couple of weeks ago, cuz I had fuck all in this workout.

Yeah, I know. I gotta breath the pure oxygen and use the cardio defibrillator after visiting.

Have you ever IIFYM before? Will you be taking some before pics, when you are ready to cut some fat?
For me…,Its just too easy to eat similar things, not to mention if i eat certain foods my cravings go way up. Ill be interested to see
how it works for you.

Thanks for visiting Ms.Prize, have not been able to keep anything up for the last 3 weeks. I’m sick again, feeling much worse this time. My immune system just f-ing shot.

Cal, I could actually do with some pure oxygen among other things.

Up…not sure if I am going to do IIFYM, been looking at what I have to eat just to get enough protein, think maybe carb cycling as it seems if I just look at any processed carbs I bloat up. I’ll try to do pics, ya know how hard it is for me to do proper ones.

Also since time is dragging on and I’ve gotten now where these last few weeks, going to go back to full body workouts. Anyway I have to go lie down, I’ll visit you all later

Thanks 2b. All my wittle muskels are gone, I have lost weight though, trousers are fitting looser but all that hard work from Dec feels down the drain. My tris were starting to come up nice, now they look and feel flat.

Anyhoo enough self pity and finally back to work. I went to my physical therapist, had a 1to1 Feldenkrais session, and went to the physio as well the last 3 days, trying to get ribs/back sorted out. And got my shipment of metabolic powder, the discount in Feb actually made it the same price as ON powder over here, even with the shipping. Some how I got out of paying local taxes. Also got a juicer to start making some veggie juices, squeeze s’more vitamins into me. I’m done being sick. Back in the gym tomorrow.
