Who You Jivin With That Cosmik Debris

Wed
Swimming in large pool, never even ran out of breath, feeling the strokes more in the lats so that’s a good thing.
Working late tomorrow
My breath usually runs short just after the first cannon ball and right before I start doggy paddling to the side of the pool.

Ha! I had the same question . . . what the hell is a money maker? So I was amused to read your response!
Hey, kpspnap…the pressure is on for me to come up with a fitting exercise for the name now.
Is it just me or does the name money maker sound slightly sordid?..Ok just me then!

So in that case how about something like a good girl/bad girl but done lying on your back?

And make sure you put your name in there as well, can’t be much cooler than having an exercise named after you. Klokov presses, Pendlay rows, Minimlatechno’s moneymaker, it’s got a nice ring to it.

How does one do this multi quote thing?

Your workout sounds more fun than mine, though Money maker’s did sound even more exciting. Jacknifes on a swiss ball is hard.

Does everyone have a jacuzzi? I have jacuzzi envy.
I had more jacuzzi heaven tonight, I practically had the place to myself, pretending to be rich with my own spa area. But really needed, late one last night, everyone stressed at work, and then next week, half the company is on holidays :frowning:

Now don’t get the impression that I’m a fast swimmer, I’m not the slowest but one of the slow ones in the pool. This lunch time’s swim, I did feel particularly strong in the lats & tris though with each stroke, I took at any kicking really to just use arms.

HA! I’ll give it some thought when my brain cells re-grow.

8 minute cross trainer

Band warm up:
Wall slides
Pull aparts (front & back)
No moneys
Single leg dl
Deep lunges
Pull downs

Goblet Squats
3 x 6 - 16kg,
no 14kg so sucked it up

My Jacuzzi envy grows…plus a pool? To yourself? Whenever I head to the pool it is stuffed with screaming splashing small people. Of course I am usually bringing my own screaming splashing small people with me so I guess it is only fair.

This is just a hydro therapy pool. Anyway a couple was in MY jacuzzi. Bitch finally got out of my favourite spot cuz she knew what was good for her. Or well maybe she was just ready to get out.

Lat machine
2 x 10

Db Tri press

Kb shoulder presses 6kg
Bell behind - 4 x 10

Bell straight up

I’m pretty sure it was because she knew what was good for her

Just so they know ;-D

Oh yeah and did some hip & shoulder opening yoga when I got home, really needed it. I’m so wrecked right now, but everything is the good kind of sore. Think I lost 1/2 cm in body mass, nothing looks firmer but kind of feels firmer. Or could be my imagination.

You need to put your name on it. Then if they ask, you can say yes your name is on it.

Good work on the firmining!

Might need to do that, had two guys in my spot, but again most people are wimps in the jacuzzi because its too hot for them, so they finally move.

I’ll be happier with the firmination once this mid section goes, I have never ever had to worry about the mid section before, always just the hips, even when I was “plumper” than this after college. I was also younger too s’ppose

Brace yourselves…anyway TOM is just about here, so had to rush in the gym before the damn pain & nausea sets in. If timing goes right, I can actually get in a pretty good focused workout this time of month, but its luck of the draw. Only upper body, as any lower body DOMS just makes things worse off. If things go as planned (which they never do) hopefully the worst of it will be tomorrow, so I can attack the legs Thurs again.

Same warm up with 5 min cross trainer, sans single leg dl’s again.

Single arm DB Push press (pyramid set)
12 - 8kg
10 - 9kg
8 - 10kg

Lat machine
12 - 7th pin
10 - 8th pin

Tricep presses
2 x 8 - 5kg DB

KB shoulder press (bell BEHIND)
2 x 10 - 6kg (finally the fucking 6kg felt light, sheesh took awhile)
1 x 8 - 8kg

KB shoulder press (bell UP)
2 x 10 - 6kg (these felt better than last time, although I think the first time I did them seated which could be why they feel heavier standing???)

Bicep curls
2 x 8 - 7kg

Reverse wrist curls
12, 10, 8, 5, 5 - 3kg (think I’ll stick with the 3kg for now)

Farmers walks KB
(2) 16kg (hmmm think something was pulled a little on the ribs)

Stretching
Hmm something definitely twinged in the rib area, a bit disconcerting, have to keep an eye on it, lots of stretching, but physio appt is tomorrow.
Some pelvic opening stretches (not as ‘funny’ as it sounds)

Go with higher testosterone for the midsection. That is where us guy’s carry our excess weight so you are just becoming more macho. Unless that is worse, in which case, unread my last sentence.

I’m not commenting on pelvic opening exercises.

I don’t blame you, it was more for my records :-0

Well my brain thinks I’m more macho not sure my body actually does, it would be easier to put on some muscle the way you menz do, but not sure if a hairy chest would suit me.

Did nothing on Tues & Wed, except my 1.5 hour walks, thought I would make it to the big pool last night, but I fell asleep only to wake for food & some midnight back stretching.

But this morning I woke up full of beans, had a quick walk to work, went to the pool at lunch time. Did a good bit of swimming, only using the arms making sure I stretch out my sides while front crawling. Let’s see if this energy keeps up for tonight’s workout.

A friend gave me some Superpump Max, er not sure about it but will try it this evening.

I wouldnt be able to sleep with a super pump let alone a super pump MAX WOW!

Uh oh, you’re making me nervous about it, maybe I’ll just take a wincy bit.

Well I guess it depends on your body. Probably why I love anaconda…doesnt give me that Im wired feeling, but i seem to be able to train and train and train, without the fatigue. Dont get me wrong, I like those kinds of things at that moment, just seems to stay with me, so im so tired but can’t sleep. Kind of like the person that can have a cup of java right before bed, id be up ALL NIGHT LONG.

EDIT the can’t

I have a cup of coffee after lunch and I’m like that until 1 am. No energy to do anything, I just can’t fall asleep. Caffeine and I aren’t friends. What’s in Anaconda?

Hmm well I was full of beans, then I used up all my beans working late. Had to literally run home, get shit together for the gym, lost my transportation card somewhere.

Had some that stuff, didn’t really feel anything except maybe a bit more awake, maybe it helped with the workout, it’s hard to tell.

Usual band warm up, all cross trainers were taken so tried the step machine, good for the legs but not enough movement in thoracic area.

Goblet Squats
5 x 5 - 18kg DB (felt really light, definitely going up next workout)

Cardio-supersets
KB Swings
4 x 10 - 16kg
KB backward lunge pass throughs
4 x 10 - 8kg

KB russian twists
2 x 10 - 8kg

Swiss ball leg curls (w/ butt squeeze)
3 x 10 (right calf kept cramping though??)
Anyway that leg curl machine doesn’t seem to be giving me some hams so adding these instead, going to try to increase sets each A workout

Reverse wrist curls - 3kg
15, 10, 8, 5, 5

Studio occupied with classes so no farmers walks :frowning:
