It’s none of the US government’s (American people’s) business what happens outside of the US in other countries.
It is not economically feasible nor defensively sound to try and be the policemen (fuck the police anyway!) of the world.
Ron Paul and the military that support him (remember he got more military donations than any other candidate in 2008) understand this and the rest of you CHICKENHAWKS do not.
“Mind your own business” is what American foreign policy should be.

Simplistic. Almost like a 2 year old who hides their face and because they can’t see you they think they’ve disappeared.
…But the religious right of the GOP will skewer him at every opportunity.

Why?
(I don’t know anything about him)

Because the mainstream protestant sects believe that the LDS church is not true. The fact that the Mormons have 3 holy books they reference instead of 1 does not help.
And that whole pesky black/polygamous flip flop does not play out real well.

That’s a fact.

No, that’s not a fact. The religious right threatened to stay home in droves if once divorced Ronald Reagan got the nod from the GOP in 1980. And instead supported him by a wide margin, and that was against a Baptist minister, President Jimmy Carter. As Carter held liberal positions very unpopular with the religious right. His abortion position being only one.
Many if not most on the religious right think that Obama is a Muslim. And at the very least a very poor Christian based upon the church of hate that he attended for 20 years. They will also hold many of his views against him such as striking down don’t ask don’t tell allowing gay’s to come out in the military. His pro abortion stance, and his anti-Israel position. They will warm up to any candidate, even a mormon to unseat Obama. He is most unpopular with the religious right and they will vote against him and not for anyone in particular.
Keep in mind I’m not predicting that Obama will lose, only that the Christian right will vote against him.
I agree with some of your post…but without the support of the Christian voting block, I don’t believe Romney or Huntsman will win the nomination.
I don’t think you realize how strange the LDS religion will play, once people start REALLY digging into it.
The Mormon twins are going to have to defend some very sketchy stuff from their home field.

It may not be as big a deal as some people think, since both Romney and Huntsman have taken positions in the past which are contrary to LDS doctrine. Of course, the positions themselves (like supporting gay marriage) could alienate many of the religious right.

Oh I fully realize it and “people” won’t have to start digging into anything. Exactly one minute after one of them gets the nomination, (if such a thing should occur) the MSLM will be all over the mormon thing. And they will do as much damage as they possibly can before election day.

No, more like an adult that understands its not his place to try and control people.
But I will still kick your ass if you fuck with me.
More simplistic statements. Someone should clue you guys in that it is a very complex world. And ignoring certain things can get us into grave trouble.
Take it down to a level that you understand. If your neighbor cuts down a tree on your property line and continues to come dangerously close to cutting down one of your trees will you just ignore because they have not yet cut one of your trees down? Or, will you sort of wonder on over where he’s cutting and strike up a friendly conversation to make sure that he knows where to stop?
Same sort of thing on a global scale. You and Paul think that sitting in bed and pulling the covers over your head will solve the problem. But in the case of the tree cutting just think of the mess that you could have avoided with a little friendly intervention.
The world, and in fact life, is a little more complicated than the simplistic libertarian view indicates.
It sounds like the Republican party should change their name to the JESUS party, And I do not think it should cost us a QUADRILLION dollars for the Military and Foreign Policies

Well, that’s redistribution through government force. The whole “legislating morality” thing.

Vote for Ron Paul? LOL I will never vote for someone who can’t wrap his head around the simple fact that evolution is scientific fact. The world has become too complex for a President, of either party, who is scientifically illiterate.

Jesus preached charity. Having the gov’t steal my money and give it to someone who is unwilling to earn it isn’t charity.

I do not recall Jesus stipulating how the hungry should be fed or how the sick should be healed, I do recall Jesus saying "Give unto Ceasar ,what is Ceasar’s
I believe the Argument that the Government Steals , is justification in the Republican party to not do the right thing, Just my opinion
