I don’t have one. I view them as an egocentric exercise. Additionally, I am a misanthropic ogre, and facebook serves as a sad reminder that no one likes me.

I have one and find it useful. Last summer I setup a reunion with a group of guys I used to hang with using fb. Plus I can keep an eye on what my daughter is posting.

if i chat on facebook with my mom, then i dont have to talk on the phone, which i hate.

i’ve had a myspace for years. the only thing i use it for now is to store all my portfolio shots.

My ex girlfriend made me one 5-6 years ago during its beta… I check it a couple times a week. I like the fact that I can see pictures of things I do and places I go that I otherwise would have never seen and I also like facebook chat which I use from time to time to talk to some of my friends back home.

I’m the only person I know without a facebook or whatever other online social networking stuff. It just seems so pointless and time consuming.
Once made one with a fake name just to see what it’s like and the next day I got friended by 10 random people. I quit soon afterwards.
