Myspace or Facebook?

Ok, easy question, which do you have, or if you have both which do you like better.

I was a late starter, and realized that even if I thought the idea was lame, it would let me keep in touch with everyone I know.

I’ve registered for both in like the last couple weeks, and have 13 friends on myspace, because it’s just such a pain to use, compared to facebook, which I have been using actively for 3-4 hours and have 11.

I use both. Only thing I dont like about facebook is anything you change on your profile is reported to everyone on your friends list.

You can turn that shit off.

I use facebook because it’s what’s popular on my college campus and with lots of college students in general.

Facebook is a much nicer package and the admins keep it a lot cleaner. For example, on myspace, you are infinitely more likely to receive an unending stream of messages from random porn/band/etc. advertisers. On facebook, I never get that shit.

However, my roommate and I just got banned from facebook for joining the “any and all 7th graders on facebook” group so they apparently don’t have an awesome sense of humor.

Anyway, stay away from myspace, it has largely become a dying cesspool of the most unsavory corners of the internet.

How is that? I am asking because I don’t seem to have the issues some have mentioned here. Very rarely do I get spam and if I do it’s no too hard to delete it and if you get a friend request from a band you don’t like or know then just don’t accpet it. I for one am there for the music and have found a huge amount of bands that I would probably never heard of it it weren’t for myspace.

One other website I use is Flapdaddy.com . It has a Myspace type theme but you can broadcast your own shows on there which is cool as hell.

I have both, primarily use Facebook, on myspace I have my details say, “facebook is my primary social network page, go there.” I honestly have no idea why I have the myspace one still, there is NOTHING special about it. all my freinds who are on myspace are on facebook, actually MORE are on facebook. Facebook is also better due to the reasons everyone has already stated. Myspace is for 30 year old stalkers and nasty 15 year olds.

I’d also like to add that our Club team here at school has used facebook successfully to advertise our meets and events in the past. It Offers us a very easy venue for getting the word out and creating interest. Hell we were on our local ESPN2 for our PL meet we hosted in April!

Neither.

Facebook is by far better than Myspace. You don’t have to worry about people crapping out their pages since everything is standardized. Everything’s much cleaner. Groups and events are awesome, and so is tagging pictures.

But both have their merits, I guess.

neither

i deleted facebook

still have myspace out of boredom, probably will delete that soon enough.

id rather read a book.

Bebo is quite popular in my school.

Random thought: If MySpace and Facebook merged, it would be called FaceSpace.

So where do you do your stalking? The convent?

I want my half a second back that it took to read your collective posts.

Mail it to:

I use a regular website ( apatheticmalpra )
it is a bit more demanding to manage but it also gives total freedom .

LOL. I don’t use neither either and I’m looked at like some guy with a 3rd arm 'round here on campus.

Myspace just looks trashy. Facebook is much better.
