Since I don’t want to mention any names that have already been said:
Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Daniel Day Lewis
Leonardo DiCaprio (hate to say it, but he’s a great actor).

I like your list especially Daniel Day Lewis. He doesn’t do movies that often but when he does he is amazing.
Not gonna lie, i enjoy most of the cast of the Ocean’s 11/12/13 movies, even though the second one sucked, and even Clooney admits it, they are just fun guys to watch on film.
Paul Rudd
Neil Patrick Harris, lets put this guy in a movie already
Jason Statham, see The Bank Job if you haven’t, it proves he can do more then kick and drive BMW’s.
RDJ, just about as cool as they come.
John Krasinkski from TV’s the Office.
Jason Segel, loved him in Freaks and Geeks, love him on HIMYM, love him in movies.
The cast of Arrested Development.

I forgot to mention Paddy Considine, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Jeffrey Wright. They are all extremely versatile, and Wright even manages to outshine Christian Bale in Shaft. All three would make it into my top five, even though they aren’t exactly the biggest name actors around.[/quote]
number fucking one.
Paddy.
enough said.

In no particular order:
Harvey is practically untouchable… but don’t make me dig up his shit movies. Even still the man is an actor. a damn good one.
Billy Bob… well fuck he was slingblade wasn’t he? What can you take away from that. Not a damn thing.
Sam Jackson… money whore. Plenty of bullshit that bitch has been in that isn’t worth a shit. Admit it already.
My take.
So you see who wins.
in no particuliar order
1-Brendan Fraser
2-Brendan Fraser
3-Brendan Fraser
Bad taste^^
I’m surprised at the lack of love for Johnny Depp. Him and Brad Pitt are the top 2 on my list. For a third I would have to say…jim carrey back in the day.
Brad Pitt (I like all of his movies…i think)
Jason Statham (action movies + very good acting in London)
Edward Norton

I think Depp is a great actor, but truth is I am just not interested in wactching 90% of his films ie Secret Window, Finding Everland, Willy Wonka. I didn’t particulary enjoy the pirates of the carribean series, although he did a fine job. Of his movies, Blow is the only one I really enjoyed.

Donnie Brasco?!?!?
Fuhgeddaboutit.
Most of mine have already been said, but I gotta throw in Ed Harris. I find him to be very underrated.
As far as Christian Bale… I definitely don’t dislike him as an actor, but I think some people may be confusing “favorite actors” with “favorite movies”.
