Crackhead or not.
She had a positive impact on millions during her 48 years on this planet? Even in her struggles, she was a beacon of hope for the people on the street feeling they are te oly ones dealing with an addiction. I’m sure SHE is the reason some people got clean. Damn positive she is the reason some folks picked up a mic. And without a doubt the reason for a lot of our births. lol
I dont think its get that she died but I do love the fact that celebrities deal with dug addiction so publically untl the collapse under it. Sometimes the realness wakes people up. “If it ould happen to her, I’m next or sure”
Some people are meant to lead a life of suffering to teach others.[/quote]
Your flowery musings aside, let’s be realistic.
She had a “positive impact” on millions? Define “impact”. Best I know, millions enjoyed her music - that’s hardly an “impact” in the broad sense you’re implying. She was a singer, an artist - no different than the thousands of others of artist past and present. For four minutes and some seconds, she may have brought someone auditory pleasure for the duration of her song. Aside from those that “idolized” her (and who in their right mind idolizes her), she didn’t have any “impact” beyond a fleeting emotional response to a favorite song.
And no one is “here” because of her music. I never heard a Whitney song and got the urge to go “make a baby” but a Whitney song may have been on during coitus. I trust it was like that for the rest of the world too. The best she did was provide background noise for the “swimming of the sperm” which makes her no better than other various and sundry background noise ranging from the TV to neighbors arguing and dogs barking or planes passing over head to the even more profane permutations of “take this cock whore”.
The fact is, her downward spiral was fairly early in her career, and she was not an “inspiration” to anyone in their right mind, unless of course you blindly idolize talent. I think most sane people do not blindly idolize anything.
Beacon of hope for people on the street? You smokin hydro this morning blood sucker? LOL I pass such “people on the street” every single fucking day and they don’t give a fuck what Whitney was doing. They care about how they are going to get the $5 for their next blast or for a bit of alcohol. Whitney Houston is NOT part of their lives. They don’t need Whitney to remind them that they are not “the only one with an addiction” as addicts usually move amongst other addicts. They know they are not alone; for crying out loud, they congregate among each other usually.
“She is the reason” people got clean? LMFAO; she didn’t even “get clean” herself. What example did she set? She inspired people to “get clean” because she couldn’t?
Did you drink some bad blood???
And who cares who she inspired to “pick up a mic”; for every person she inspired to pick up a mic (an unverifiable claim by the way), I’m sure she inspired a 100 others that should put the fucking mic down because true elite talent is rare. I’m betting I would only need one hand to count the number of past or current successful singers that credit Whitney with inspiring them to pick up a mic.
I don’t know what you put in your morning blood today, but you’re high your damn self. I’m not trying to shit on the dead here; but the fact is, she was an enormous talent who’s life was pretty much a train wreck not that much after her rise to fame. She was hardly an inspiration or role model to anyone. Her voice was beautiful, she was beautiful, but she was deeply troubled.
She is yet another cautionary tale, not an “inspiration”.
Anyway, your romantic musing was entertaining and a betrayal of your alleged eternal nature.
Her passing is however, sad - as is the passing of ANYONE.

This post was way too long and I didn’t read it. Did it mention you giving me a falcon or not?
