Jordan, one of the most athletic humans ever, did not have the requisite skill to play MLB at the commensurate level of the very best baseball players who had focussed on this sport for their entire lives.
Having said that, Jordan did actually play baseball to an extremely high level, considering his dedication to an alien sport and his almost complete lack of baseball practice.
If anything, the Jordan baseball example actually proves my point.
Take Barry Bonds at his peak and put him in pro basketball. Would he be as good at basketball as Jordan was at baseball. Nope!

If you want to test the speed of a sportsman, you make them sprint. It is the fairest method.
No sport consists solely of sprinting bar athletics.
NFL is just a summation of short sprint plays - of course they run faster on a track in a sprint than a skater.
I am pointing out the flaw in your methodology used to test. It’s still not an objective measure. You saying it is doesn’t make it so.
It’s the same flaw you have been applying throughout the thread. IQ tests based off western education show a lower IQ when applied to other countries therefore those lower IQs are inherently less intelligent. Intelligence Quotient is not equal to intelligence as you propose, it is a statistical measure based on a moving average. The only way to scale the collective levels of intelligence would be to establish an average for each culture/tribe/country whatever and than test all in that country against the uniquely established average. It is likely the same distribution curve would appear.
Look, you can have a problem with him if you want to. I don’t want a problem with him or you. I find it a little strange you want me to ‘join in’ some sort of group hate. That’s not me.
If you have good reason to dislike him then go nuts or ignore him, but don’t ask me to join in. I will make my own decisions.

It’s even worse when you don’t actually give those low IQ people an actual IQ test and just make a up a number to confirm your bias.
Honestly, I think NHL is the toughest sport. Especially in your given criteria. I had to give an NHL player a ride home once. He wasn’t a big name, I don’t remember his name, but he was a big tough son of a bitch with a rock crushing hand shake. I tried give a firm hand shake and he squeezed my hand so hard my fingers looked like sausages. I don’t think he was even trying.
Bullfighting is pretty tough. Bull riding is tough as well.
He wasn’t actually terrible, it’s just that hard to make it to the Show. Jordan was older when he did that and was not in peak physical condition. And he wasn’t willing to grind it out in the minors for very long so we’ll never really know how good he could have been.
He was a decent baseball player, but like any who haven’t been solely focused on the one sport he was rough around the edges and not pro-ready. He probably could have had a cup of coffee in the Big’s at least if he stuck with it. I believed in his talent.
It put’s in to perspective how good Dion Sanders and Bo Jackson really were to play 2 sports at the highest levels and be successful in both. Dion played baseball for 9 seasons, if he stuck with it instead of football, I am sure he would have been in the Hall of Fame for baseball instead of football.

- You take one variable (speed) and say how would you test this
I say you put both sportsmen on a track
- You say this is not fair
I say in a test of speed, yes it is.
I also say, due to one sport being inherently more athletic, one sport will benefit from greater speed
- You say NFL is based on sprinting so this is cheating
I say the very fact it is based on pure athleticism illustrates my point that it is inherently more athletically demanding
IQ tests are not “based on western education.”
IQ tests are considered perfectly applicable by:
- the US Government (via the Army)
- most of the best educational establishments in the world
- many of the best employers in the world
Yet when someone uses them in a “racist” context, they are apparently useless.

Are you able to name a single one? Working for the world’s largest staffing company servicing the world’s largest companies, I was under the impression it’s illegal to mandate an IQ test to your employees in America and all of Europe.
It would be hella interesting to see a single large company effectively using IQ tests

Even then I would love to see it. Administering tests to employee and prospective candidates in the US requires it specifically be job relevant (general IQ tests, are by definition, not relevant to any specific job).
European labor laws are even stricter than ours, but maybe in some old Soviet country or something.
I could see some large Chinese companies using IQ tests for certain roles as I doubt it’s illegal there like the rest of the 1st world.
I had to have a federal background check done for a security clearance and I was interviewed by someone from the FBI. He didn’t ask about my IQ but he did ask about my credit.
