Including yourself, there has not been a single person who has responded to me in this thread in anything other than a rude, aggressive, sarcastic or pedantic manner.
I’m only here to discuss the thread topic. I’m not interested in just exchanging insults.
I’ve made my view clear in many lengthy posts. You are welcome to read them if you wish. If they remain unclear to you, that is a shame but I guess life will continue for us both.
I only want to discuss the topic. If someone can prove my points wrong, more power to them. I’m not here to defend my position to the death, I’m trying to expand my understanding of the world and also how others see it.
I’m not joking when I say write out your points in a clear, concise and polite manner and I will try and respond as best I can. Discussions don’t always have to be about humiliating/destroying your ‘opponent’. They can just be discussions, too.
I called it dude. That’s the crutch he’s going to use to rationalize his avoidance of my challenges to his logic and understanding. Some perceived “tone”. He has no interest in defending his position in any intellectually honest way. If he had any understanding he wouldn’t be clutching feigned indignation like it was a Crucifix to a vampire…
So you going to keep crying about it or are you going to answer my inquiries? I know the answer already…
So discuss your stance in better terms than you’ve presented. The crux of any of my responses to you is to explain the vague terms you’ve presented in no uncertain terms. Can you do this, or can you NOT do this? You keep avoiding and deflecting so, you can see how I assume you’re just full of shit, right? That’s not an unreasonable assumption by any stretch…
You’ve written long posts littered with vague terms, like “white civilization” et al. Explain those terms which I have called out and other posters are having trouble understanding.
But your views are vague - if you don’t think they’re repugnant, but some of us do, how about you explain your views. The onus is on you to make yourself understood. The way I, and seemingly other posters, understand your point of view is as if they are repugnant. You get that, right?
And I’m not joking when I say tell me where I am unclear. I’ve highlighted EXACTLY where I have issue with your language. It’s vague and I’ve pointed it out.
I’ve asked you to do this multiple times and you deflect and avoid. You can understand why I’m skeptical.
I find the way you split the posts up so much quite difficult to follow.
Please can you list what you would like to be discussed. You seem to be saying that I am being continually vague and disingenuous, yet I am unclear what it is exactly you are referring to.
Ohhh, this is cold. You think the Irish don’t have food? Really? Well, let me tell you something: they do. And that is all I will say on the matter due to the extreme level of offense I have taken, which has rendered me speechless with indignation.
Wellll, I dunno. You fail to take into account that Somalis are not scooped up in wholesale batches from their remote villages and relocated to the US (or other countries). I am going to assume that as with any other immigrant group, the people who manage to arrive from great distances are self-selected for certain qualities, which would presumably include grit and intelligence. And maybe strong immune systems - as with the Irish traveling steerage, a certain hardiness is required to survive the process.
Only anecdotally, but my son is becoming very serious with a Somali girl. I’m not sure whether she was born here or there or in the refugee camp, but regardless, she is both beautiful and delightful and the relationship has my enthusiastic blessing. Having earned her master’s degree in May, she is encouraging my son to go back for his. She’s definitely not turning my little corner of America into a hellscape. At least, not so far!
That is a charming anecdote, yet doesn’t disprove anything I have said about Somalia.
The average IQ in Somalia is 68. So even if they are sending their best as you are suggesting, it really doesn’t amount to an awful lot, to put it politely.
And @zecarlo.
WASP generally refers to Americans of English descent, not Englishmen. Not simply the people but also their life outlook, customs, mores.
And it was probably the defining characteristic of early American as a distinct culture was being laid out.
The US was in a large part built around their design.
However, it would be impossible to neglect the influence of Catholic immigrants from E & S Europe in the formulation of said culture. And although later - the African influence. Only since the 50s(imo) have the 2 been joined by a multiplicity of cultures (East Asian, Hispanic, South Asian) that have roiled the status quo.
I’m a WASP, believe it or not, so I know what it is. I just don’t see it as white culture. One of many cultures that happen to be made up of whites would be how I see it. My ancestors probably told TheCB’s to go back where they came from.
Granted. All great things. I’m still foggy on what exactly I have to fear from these immigrants that would be against my white interest. What are any of them going to DO that impacts my life? Why exactly am I supposed to fear their impact on society, when it’s far more likely that society will impact them?
