That’s just capitalism.
I feel like this is why, anecdotally, alt rightys are batting a thousand in self identification.
I’m sure a non alt righty has merged ‘cuck’ with some other word before, but I haven’t found him yet.
There’s a word for everything these days…
What’s keeping the price so low on the lakefront home? I assume it’s beautiful there?
It’s in Missouri.
Looked like a nice place on Ozark. Neighbors seemed a little funny though.
It’s incredibly scenic; however, the lake’s far too crowded and I’m 45. No patience for the skanks and bro’s down here anymore. The house is one of the smaller ones down there, too. It’s paid off (thanks grandpa) and the sale will be pure profit. Some will get invested in the bar the rest is going to be our travel expense funds. 6 months between Europe and New Zealand. We’re actually looking at a cottage in the French countryside while we’re there.
zecarlo is just trying way too hard. The Ozarks are breath taking.
We have some weirdos down here. Meth is abundant but they typically keep to themselves unless they’re trying to steal your copper or catalytic converter. Ha
I’ve never had any issues. We even had a bunch of 1% bikers here for a big nation wide run last year. They made me a TON of money at the bar. Zero issues.
What did you do in The Corps ?
I was an 0331 / 8531
I’ve seen the Ozarks and I’ve seen the people there. The only good thing is that if you get divorced, you’re still brother and sister.
Zzzz…
The L.o.O is quite different. Nice try though
I hope you and your sister have fun in France.
I’m from Ladue (you can’t afford it)
Enjoy your evening, soy boy
As if that’s supposed to mean something to me.
That’s pretty much everywhere now.
I’ve seen some pics of the region. It does look nice, I’ve just never had an occasion to be there.
It’s just crazy to me that a lake front house at a well known lake could be THAT affordable. Is everything that affordable in the area? Like, are the beers $1.50? Haha that would be awesome.
I was an air wing pog, 6672 aviation supply.
You must really be from California lol. His place being 325k most likely equates out to “top 5% most expensive properties in the state.”
In my metro having a 325k+ is closer to 1% status
From CA, now living in another state that better suites my life built around skiing and MTB.
Even in this state, $325k for touristy lakefront is unthinkable. Is MO really that poor and/or bad to live in? I mean, that guy is boasting about how well off he is by saying his house is $325k… What is so wrong with the area that is depressing wages and home prices? He keeps mentioning how successful the is.
Imean, in my field of work my salary would be pretty similar across the country, but everywhere I’d want to live would run me $500k+ for a 2bdrm, and lake/river front wouldn’t even be an option.
Anecdotally, what’s the last positive thing you’ve heard about MO?
Jokes aside, it just has a much lower cost of living than you’re probably used to. In my Ohio metro, I got 1800 sqft with 800 finished basement for 165k. I also worked at the mortgage company at the time and saw the comparable sizes in CA and FL. Easily double.
Below average citizenry, same as most rural states.
It’s much easier to succeed if you place yourself around below average people.
