Which is Your Favorite Car?

Mmm I love Porsche. But damn, I can’t fit in them.

For purely ridiculous fantasy vehicles, the Porsche Carrera GT has always been my favorite supercar.

Yes please! I’m not a big fan of many of the new holdens but I would definitely take this home

That is a peach!!

Have one of these. SEAT Leon FR.

Great wee car. Packs a punch while being quite nippy with it.

However will be the last diesel that I own.

That is a sweet M3! A 6spd manual would make it near perfect. The last model year I liked. Seems they’ve become too big. The inline 6’s of the beemers are so good. I wonder why it’s not a more popular format.

Hard to argue here! Especially since it was one of the last supercars to only be offered with a 6spd manual, if I’m not mistaken. Sounds great and looks great! Have you driven one?

Want a rally type car!
But I have a lady’s sport truck aka 2008 F-350 King Ranch and yes I can back my own trailer and I am nice enough to let my boyfriend drive it

As far as a dream car…man, I’ve always loved american muscle…

That’s like asking what my favorite song is. I started this thread a couple years ago:

Pretty much everyone of them can be my favorite. We are in a golden age of cars right now and I am fortunate enough to have realized it right away. 707 HP Dodges, 750 HP Corvettes, New Mustang GT500 is supposed to be pushing 760+. And you don’t have to drop a half million to get this kind of power, with a warranty.
However, even the milder cars, the humble SS Camaro is dropping 455 HP 455 ft/lbs, straight from the factory for a very reasonable price, and haul ass it will.

I have a Mustang GT with 420 HP and it goes like hell. Six on the floor, Recaro seats and Brembo Brakes. I get compliments on it all the time, and it’s stock…

Even in 2nd gear once the tach hits 4500, the rear kicks out, frighteningly so, and I have Michelin Sport Cup tires on it. Unless you are in an empty parking lot, do NOT turn the traction control full off. The car will flip on you in a nanosecond (especially in 2nd gear) and you cannot do a damn thing about it. It’s like hitting an ice patch.

One time, I was at a gas station, with my 16 year old daughter in the car. I thought at first the guy was checking out the car, then I realize he was checking out my daughter. :face_vomiting:

I should have shot him… But there is too much of that going on even though he ‘needed killin’ for looking at my daughter like a piece of meat.

I used to be a huge Ferrari fan. I still like them, but I would rather leave one in the dust with something made in America at this point. America, is once again on top. The king of the car… As it should be.

It’s’ a beautiful car… And the most dangerous car Porsche ever made…
Right now, my favorite Porsche is the plain old Carrera S, stripped. Just A\C and a radio, nothing else. It’s the most pure of the breed…

Why? I know next to nothing about it. I used to know a little back when I was into cars more (IE before I knew what it was like to make a car payment for 48 goddamned months), but even then it was just from reading MT and C&D.

I agree about the golden age, unless you need 4 doors. Then things get dismal pretty fast, especially if you’re trying to find something with a stick. I reluctantly parted with a previous generation WRX recently, god I loved that car. Everything about it just felt raw and alive. Unfortunately Subaru has completely ruined the new ones, and there is nothing in the world my wife hates more than the look of STI’s. I really wanted one of the GT’s you have, but couldn’t really live with a 2 door at the end of the day.

From a fantasy/never going to happen standpoint I’d go with a Pagani Zonda.

It has control issues a lot of people have found it hard to control at speed.

Cadillac CTS-V? KIA Stinger?

Your chariot awaits you, my lady.

CTS-V’s are nice, but at that price point I think I’d buy a weekend car and a commuter car. The Kia isn’t bad, but that is a LOT to pay for a Kia at the end of the day in order to get one that’s at all quick.
