As a third party observer, I am fairly certain Kraken was referring to himself in a self-deprecating manner in the text you quoted rather than referring to you personally in a malicious manner.

Except he didn’t resurrect the thread. Nor is his post count lacking so I’m not sure that’s so. Either way it’s the net and no prob. Maybe I’m wrong.

I’ve had a few issues like this as well. I honestly figured it was either my phone, or the fact that I’m at a new job and their wi-fi blocks quite a few of my favorite sites. If it is because the guys behind the curtain are working on something, I’m sure it’ll right itself. No real bugs ever last very long without the mods picking up and relaying the issues.
