Am I the only one who no longer has a link to the last read post? Now I have to go to the last post and scroll up until I get to where I left off. Is it just me, or was a stupid change made site wide?
I don’t have it either. An odd feature to lose. I use that way more than needing to preview the first post in a thread over and over.
I’m guessing the new layout is for cellphone lurkers.
Not sure if the problem is just for folks on cellphones, but the third column where it says Last Post at the top, you just click on the listing where is shows the time and member for the last post and it does the same thing that the old feature used to achieve. Works on my computer, no idea for the mobile folks.

No? All clicking that does is take me to the literal last post, or more commonly gets me stuck at the top of the last page. Maybe it’s a browser issue, but I’ve always used FF and it worked just fine before this update and doesn’t now.

To make it more visually appealing and user friendly to the new users/readers they’re trying to gain via all the social media outreach?
But for me, I just click the link in the 3rd column and it always goes to the last post. Works on my laptop with Chrome, and my iPhone with Safari.

Ya, it seems to work some of the time for me, but often it just goes to the last page. I wish they’d just make an app already!

Sure, we’ll get used to it, but that “last read” link is a game changer. There is a reason every forum on earth has it.
When I first noticed, I just figured they were trying out some new stuff, and hopefully were in the middle of something bigger. I actually miss those little red buttons
