Damn you never made fun of anybody in 4th grade? I know its wrong but you have to admit the whole class got a laugh. RainJack is just that guy that we make fun of because he comes from the only family in town that runs around castrating poodles and bragging that he’s the only one that knows how. I think you are correct. And I also think the reason some did not like Pro X is because of the people who followed him. Pro X did contribute to the site and did give very good advice. However, he developed a following of groupies that hung on his every word and would trash others who dared to question the content or accuracy of his posts.

This is why people started to not like him. Not because of what he was saying (although sometimes he was as ass to people for no reason), but because of the pedestal others had placed him on.

I just said that about PX as bait to stir up some controversy. lol. I’m not really into internet warring, I’m a 30 year old grown man with an 11 year old daughter as well (although I used to be into all that ‘online battling’ when I was around 19). I just wanted to see who would stand by his side and who felt the same way as I did. I know he had quite a following of groupies hanging on his every word, and this mindless groupie-ism (if that’s a word, lol) is one thing I was opposed to.

I was not attacking Prof X the man himself, but his self-superior ego complex. I haven’t been around here long enough to distill his basic principles in a nutshell, as outlined by Bauer (which I agree with, and have been applying through common sense anyway, long before I even knew PX existed).

My original post that started this shit was, “…in my opinion, fuck Professor X. This place is better off without another huge ego / superiority complex type of person always rippin’ on people.”

I suppose it was miscomprehended as to what I meant, because I typed it hastily. If I could re-word it, I would take out “type of person” in the sentence to make it clear as to what I disliked about the Prof - it wasn’t him as a human being, it was just those aspects of his character and behaviour - because he had a tendency to pass judgement on a lot of others as well. As it is said - those who judge, will be judged.

In any case, there were a couple of niggling little things I wanted to clear up. I guess I’m being pedantic, but I hate leaving things unsaid. I don’t know if I should bother saying the rest, it’s getting late but maybe I’ll come back later and wrap up the loose ends.
