Where'd You Come From?

I got started when I was in Kosovo in the Army. I was absolutely fucking bored death. Not being a person to get sucked into video games, I nabbed a couple of Flex magazines that were left behind on a table and started reading, then doing the “workouts”. That fell off to the side until around a year later when I was doing that same damn thing again, and not getting shit out of it.

I accidently came across Testerone.net by ordering one of the few printed editions of this site as part of a supplement order. Been a reader ever since! Since then I went from a fat-skinny 230 lbs at 6’ to 210 lbs and much stronger. I used to have trouble passing the Army physical fitness test, now I smoke it. I do hate the thought of how much time was wasted doing those unproductive waste-of-time bullshit workouts printed in those dumbass fucking magazines.

I started out to Bulk up gain weight on my 5’4"-113lb frame.
I used Super Squats as my 1st routine, really roughly a year.I was so broke I’d drink my gallon milk an for carbs eat 3 cans beans a day not until later on did I add in olive oil shots for cals.My nutrition was all over the place.(shotty n’ shitty) But in that one year I went from 113lbs. to roughly 165-167lbs. No I was not a huge fellow, but I was satisfied with my results. Also all training was @ home with a home made wooden power rack an cheap weights from a garage sale.

I’m pretty sure I have you all beat. I did my entire work-out in my bedroom with 5 pound dumbbells when I was in 6th grade. Bicep curls, lateral raises, front raises, sit-ups, repeat until I got bored.[/quote]

I laughed at these. I laughed hard. Not because they were funny, more of a “Oh… If you only knew…” thing.

Mine was 10 pushups, then one hundred curls, then 30 situps about once a week.

The curls were with 2.5lb dumbells.

My first time in the gym was in 12th grade. Our weights coach had everybody on the same template; kindof a whole body twice a week. This actually worked very well for me, I went from a 125 1RM on BP to a 175 in 18 weeks, and them up to 200 1RM the next 18 weeks. Squat went from 185 1RM to 295 in the same 36 weeks. I forget much else, but then came HS graduation and then Marine Corps Boot Camp. I went from a pretty strong 185lb 17yo to a 155lb 18 yo in 3 months. I was down to a size 28 in the waist. After that I kindof arbitrarily lifted for the next 4 years, workng my way back up to around 200lbs using Weider’s principals and a 5-day-5-way split (chest/bi/tri/back/legs, mon-fri).I continued this untill last summer (05’)when this dude at my gym came up to me and kept harrasing me about this webpage and the Waterbury Method. I finally gave in and did the WB Method for 4 weeks and packed on close to 8 lbs of muscle in that short time. Needless to say I’ve been hooked on The Nation ever since.
