I’m 19 5’9 200lbs about 15 bf max bench-250 max squat-400. My question is where should I start. I’m looking to cut up a bit while gaining more muscle mass. Any helps greatly appreciated.
Hmm 19 seems pretty young. Are you sure you don’t want to continue gaining naturally at this point?
I have done everything imaginable for 5 years and haven’t seen many results. Personal trainers, tried various supplements and nothing has worked out to well for me. I’m looking for something that is not to extreme, as I’m not trying to get gigantic.
I also think it will motivate me to work harder in the gym when I start to see results. I understand you concern and have thought about it for a long while and done a lot of research and I think with proper usage a cycle or two to start off won’t hurt me much more than the beating my body has taken from 12 years of football. I appreciate any help.

Personal trainers don’t know everything. Just because you pay em a shitload of money doesn’t mean they have the best plan for you (I’d go as far as to say that lots of PTers suck).

Supplements don’t equal mass. You gain weight by eating more than you burn. Try increase your protein intake to 1.5 g per pound of bodyweight or more.
I say wait, I’m sure you haven’t tried everything possible to gain muscle mass naturally. But its not my decision to make
I’ve worked with the best with the best. Everywhere from a collegiate national track champion from tennessee,Don Beebe, ex-football players, trainer at usc, and arena players. I’ve put a lot of money into training since I was pretty young and just haven’t been satisfied with the results.
I had a string of injuries that ruined my football career and I’m trying to get back to shape and maybe end up in the arena league a few years down the road. Also im already taking 1.5 grams of protein, someone else recommended that to me as well. Right now the only other thing I take is fish oil, i drink green tea, and Vitamin b complex.
