No bullshit, there is an old school guy at my gym who rocks the old school Zubaz pants, tiger print no less.
I am tempted to say, “hey asshole, Tony the Tiger wants his costume back, but then I saw he lifts more than me. (FML)”

X2 on the moisture wicking clothing, cotton is not an ideal workout material, it gets nasty when you sweat like crazy.
moisture wicking socks are a horrible horrible idea, unless your shoes have a lot of ventilation
What you mean I need special clothes to workout in now too!! Ohh man what am I going to do with all my gains after I have the latest fashions in workout clothes.
Those Underarmour loose gear shirts are pretty nice if you sweat a lot. Otherwise I just wear those Hanes t shirts you get in a pack of 5 for like $12. They are comfy and I just throw em away if they get fucked up or stained or something.

Bullshit. I dress walking around like I do in the gym. I try to not go crazy with the sleeveless shit…but honestly, on your death bed you won’t be saying, 'damn, I wish I hadn’t shown off so much muscle when going shopping".[/quote]
I should have expanded on this. I doubt that OP is over 160 lbs. I’m basically picturing a kid who doesn’t look like he’s ever picked up a weight walking around in a size small underarmour compression shirt. I also know CT Rockula walks around in gym-type clothes, and I’m good with that too. Different rules for the big guys, X.

Also, CT on this site wears that damn Hulk shirt (of which I want one with superman on it) every single day of his life.
It is grafted to his skin. He has to have it surgically removed at night.
Im all for wearing old clothes, but i really cant stand when people like do that thing where they cut not just the sleeves off, but like make the arm holes so big that their nipples start to show and like obliques. It just seems so douchy. No matter how big or ripped they are I alwasy just see them as this:

Other than that… I usually wear old shirts with holes everywhere and sometimes on upper body days I have been known to wear JEANS!

But…where do you find jeans that fit your legs?
Or is it too early for another one of those threads?
I usually just use the t-shirts given to me whenever I buy more protein powder. Shorts are usually whatever I can get cheap, as long as they are soccer style. regular shorts look bad on me as I have relatively short, but large legs, and a big ass.

I just take T shirts that don’t fit anymore, and cut a slit at the neck, cut the sleeves off, and slit them a little as well. That way I don’t have to spend a dime and I can keep wearing shirts that I couldn’t wear otherwise. Old Navy sweat pants or whatever shorts to go with that.

Starting this thread was a bad idea. I dont mean I walk around sleeveless all day outside of class, I’m just referring to wearing tshirts and basketball shorts. And whenever I where tshirts, they get stuck to my skin and heavy. Not referring to wearing a t back tank out to dinner LOL
As of right now I go to sports authority and spend 30$ on a light mesh tshirt.

Exactly, I was referring to just some really light clothing that wont be heavy or stick to my skin… All my friends go for this ripped tshirt look and to me they look like tools. Maybe because they also sit there and flex in the mirror

I LOL’d but…
I’m 5’2" so I can always find jeans that fit my legs. To have problems I would need 30" thighs and that would look retarded on me… lol… it would literally be bigger than my waist and it’d be damn near impossible for me to walk without a penguin waddle.

Just curious, what part of the country do you live in? X lives in Houston, the grossest place in the world, so it certainly makes sense for him to wear lightweight clothes everywhere.
Seriously though. Houston is terrible. I break out in hives just thinking about it.
I wear a pair of baggy joggies and whatever t-shirt I was wearing the day before, providing it’s not gotten too gross.
Never understood the need for designated gym clothes

I see what you’re saying, but I don’t like sweating in my casual wear. I don’t want the pits to stain or get them stretched out. It’s also annoying to workout with sleeves, but that’s just my opinion.
6pm.com has a lot of name brand clothing at discount. This is where I get most of my clothes.
I just go to walmart or target. Plain T shirts and athletic mesh type shorts are pretty cheap, and you can generally get good quality stuff as well, especially at target.
I wear “workout clothes” as casual wear sometimes. I play rugby for my college, so it helps when I’m feeling achy/sore/etc.

Doesn’t everybody? You know what they say: Virginia is for lovers, Houston is for sex offenders.
But that’s not what I came in here to say. I came to report that I wore the social worker t-shirt this morning. I’ll go with the radio station shirt next time.
OP, I got the social worker t-shirt from…hmm…graduate school, maybe. Or possibly some sort of social worker fundraiser thing. Not sure. It’s a good shirt, though. The radio station shirt was a gift, but it came from the radio station originally. So they were both free, which is an even better deal than all the other deals mentioned in this thread. I’m sleeping with the radio station t-shirt guy, though. I don’t know what you’re willing to do for your workout clothes…you may not see that as a good deal, I don’t know.
Uhhh I just wear like $5 Walmart white tees that come in packs and cheap basketball shorts
